So here we are another Christmas in the can, the curtain closer of Little Christmas or Nollaig Na mBan is tomorrow which sadly doesn't hold any relevance these days! A huge THANK YOU TO @freshpopcorn for keeping us on track and counting down the days, and for @DvB for counting down the weeks, look forward to your efforts in 2022.

When are we starting the 2022 countdown? Vaguely recollect its after the 12 days are finished?!? this coming Sunday is week 50 after all😉

yes towards the facts. I actually googled if it was possible to get a day calendar for Christmas facts but it is not. FPC got me hooked on the facts.
that glitch of not being able to post pictures on their own is now fixed while text/facts are no longer required they are appreciated! 😂

As much as I enjoyed the facts I can forgive @freshpopcorn dropping them as well.
Given the mammoth task of putting up countdown images daily (i thought weekly was bad enough) I can only imagine trying to hunt down christmas facts on top of that... maybe its something that would be added closer to christmas, i.e. after double digit day or suchlike?
Just an idea.
FTR I created the new weekly ones I need for 2022 earlier this week as there was a good few 2021 specific ones in last years countdown. So I'm all set for another go at the weekly countdown again. Being able to upload from a mobile without needing a third party hosting site makes it far far more convenient.
Totally, wasn't expect facts all year. Probably should have been clearer, start of Christmas season is perfect.
Yeah completely agree, leave it to even 30 days or less, give us something to look forward to, or maybe sprinkle a fact every tenth day on the countdown, 350 days to ogo, 340, 330,etc.
Thought this would be a nice way to close the 2021 countdown thread.
