Maybe they wanted something that looked better than say a berlingo and such. Cheap enough all things considered if you knew someone in a wheel chair. Those conversions are not cheap.
I always thought that a car like this would have a great second purpose for someone who likes to do bike track days in mondello or someone who does a bit of motocross. Throw the bike in easily with the convenient ramps and hit the road. Nice, braap braap.
I’d be very interested to see what modifications were done to the rear suspension to make that ramp work. I drove a galaxy before that had heavy modifications done to the back end for a conversion, it was very wobbly on the motorway.

Wind up front windows, manually adjustable door mirrors, no front arm rest and the stereo doesn't even seem to have a digital display screen. The alloy wheels have no centre caps so I'd say they were probably added later to replace the original steel rims with plastic wheel trims. I wonder does it have central locking?

The wheels on that Fabia are Audi alloys, the same as the ones on this A4.

You can buy a 2015 facelift Polo in the UK that won’t come with central locking. I think it came as standard in Ireland tho

Is it really a steal @3k with no NCT? It's failed the NCT and some of the things it's failed on are pretty rudimentary things you would do as preparation for the NCT itself. I'm a bit surprised those things would not be checked and sorted by the seller prior to the test given they claim to be an enthusiast.
