Has anyone spotted the 24 pack of Guinness anywhere in Limerick?
Anyone else get the Lidl own brand vodka for €7.99?
I cleaned out a whole shelf yesterday at the Ballyvolane store but couldn't find the bottles in any other Lidl.
Baffled how they were able to sell it at that price.
They are offloading it at a loss as from Tuesday there will be zero market for it because of MUP. I'd assume ALDI has a similar own brand available.
Stock is almost gone. In my store there's just a handful of Budweiser, carlsberg and Canadian slabs. All likely to be sold well before we close today.
Not in Tesco Roxboro or dunnes parkway. 15 cans for 20 was best on offer.
Was just in Tesco. Somebody must have jumped the gun with the mup . There is a sticker on the shelf for druids cider 8 can pack for 19 euro. Its usually 12😨

Anyone in cork city looking for Guinness. Lidl cornnarket centre have the 24 slabs for 17 euro. Actually loads of slabs of everything as it's not a great spot to be buying slabs due to location.
Dunnes selling this 'nectar' for 30 cent a can, probably more suited for that unexpected guest arriving at your house...

I got 20 cans of their Germania Lager (4.8%) today for free! Well, almost. 50c a can and used the €10 voucher I got for buying a €100 gift card earlier this month. Oh, and the gift card was spent on 4 slabs of Guinness and toilet rolls.
This MUP will probably feature in Reeling In The Years (Tears) in the future

Yes I've been telling friends for a good 6 months it's coming in and to stock up but they do not listen, when they see €45 crates they will pass out.
I suspect you just wont see crates anymore...
