I would not agree with that. Young lad home from NZ was testing himself every couple of days before Christmas, he failed s test Christmas Eve symptoms only started evening before. Daughter and BF failed an antigen today and only started showing symptoms yesterday evening according to her.
Biggest thing I have seen with Omicron is that you pick it up faster and it shows symptoms faster. Young lad could only have picked it up 36 hours before he failed the test.
Good news is if you are vaccinated it's a 24-36 hour bug

Wouldn't be for me tbh, I think it was 2007 I was in London, and the then girlfriend and I went to - I say went, I was dragged - to some kind of historical interactive tavern thingy. I actually felt physically uncomfortable at the toasts and such to royalty 🤷♂️ Wasn't a premeditated thing or anything like that, just 100% wasn't for me.

Seems to be kicking off all over the world really at the moment not just here. We alll had a dose here in the few days around Christmas our mother took an antigen test and it was negative were all 100% now and carrying on as normal. If this new variant is as harmless as its been reported it seems a massive over reaction at the moment and just a way of instilling fear in the population for the sake of it.
My brother, a close contact, tested positive on an Antigen test. Not a hope of getting a PCR test at the moment. I took an antigen test , but negative.
It's all getting nuts now.

Yeah, sick because of a booster, then no symptoms with Covid...... The antigen tests aren't worth a damn either. She (obsessively) took 11-12 of them, all negative, then 1 PCR test, positive.

Off we all go for tests now.
I got out there for a few pints at bar at sisters house. No opening or closing times. Very relaxed. Pints were savage.
