Anderson 4/6 (v Bunting) tonight
Callan Rydz 13/8 (v Cross) tomorrow
Dimitri 1/2 (v Chizzy) tomorrow
Jose De Sousa 8/15 (v Bully Boy) Wednesday
acca pays ~ 9/1
World Grand Prix
Jonny Clayton to win third Quarter 2/1 sky bet. He looked impressive beating Callan Rydz in round 1 (although his opponent didn't put up much resistance).
Gerwyn Price/Jonny Clayton to reach the final also appeals @ 11/2 PP
In match betting Darius Labanauskas is a bit of value @ 11/8 Boyles to beat the not very dependable Ian White in the first of 4 clashes tonight. His victory against Brendan Dolan looked better to me than White's victory v Ando.
Peter Hudson is a very big price tonight at 11/4 a streaky player but a good one way overpriced for me and worth a tenner of any man's money.
PP also doing a special Hudson and Lewis at 9/2 worth a few bob.
Going big on the bottom half of the draw:
double on MVG and Wright to win their quarters and small outright stakes on Searle, Aspinall, Cross and Anderson
in the hope I'll still have some interest come the semis
Match betting.. will do an accum on these
Krzysztof Ratajski v Steve Lennon Today .... 3/10
Darius Labanauskas v Mike De Decker 18th ..... 2/5
Ian White v Chris Landman 18th .... 2/5
Ted Evetts v Jim Williams 18th ..... 11/10
Pays about 4.3/1 , and I think I'm buying money with the first three 😂 , and, in the last, 'Superted' won't be up against Sherrock this time
I don’t usually bet but what’s the odds on free money, Willie to beat Glen?
Thanks
TbL
Fell at the first.. Ratajski handed himself his own ass 😊 , and he was ably assisted in his demise by the Irishman hitting big numbers..
😂 a mere 1/4, although that could look big come 2.00 Wednesday... Am seeing as short as 1/6, but the good news is that Boyles are one of those going 1/4 (according to oddschecker) , so you can go into the shop, and put down 4 green ones, to pick up 5... 😀 Am nearly tempted myself - if I could find another 'mortgage job' (Durrant's been rubbish last I've seen of him, but "form is temporary" , as they say ) to double him up with... I'd rather just watch it though - would be as much enjoyment seeing Willie hammer Duzza, as a 25% profit would be (likely more ☺️)...
van den Bergh to win the whole shabang - 18/1
Gone for Aspinall @ 25s
Michael Smith and Dimitri both to win with most 180s and highest checkout 11/2
treble
Joe Cullen (v J Williams) 2/7
Martijn Kleermaker (v The Wizard) 6/4
Alan Soutar (v 'Gentle') - hope he hands his 'Aussie' ass to him 😂 11/10
treble pays ~ 5.7/1
and a single on Boris Koltsov to beat Dirk Van Duijvenden @ 5/2
Got a lot of luck with this this one:
Heta 1/3
Rydz 11/10
Sotar 11/10
Jose 2/7
Clemens 8/15
Noppert 1/5
Cross 8/15
Dobey 2/7
5 only paid out 137
All still standing going into round 3, incredibly...
Ross Smith (v Dirk Van Duijvenbode) 10/11
Raymond Smith (v Florian Hempel) 7/4
Ryan Searle (v Danny Noppert) 8/13
Daryl Gurney (v Rob Cross) 7/5
Luke Humphries (v Chizzy) 10/11
5 Singles, and an acca on 4 out of the five picks (will leave Aussie Raymond out of accum) - accum pays about 13/1
double on MVG and Wright to win their quarter
Just got an email from bet 365 saying "As a gesture of goodwill and contrary to our rules we have settled this selection as a void."
presumably under normal circumstances I'd lose the bet...
You were 3/3 and can count your Gurney bet quite unlucky. 3 nice singles wins though.
Edit: Forgot Ross had bottled his lead against DvD sorry. Had it in my head Ross won that game.
Ta P.. I think you 'miscounted' there 😂 Ross Smith were beat from 3-0 up in the first leg of the acca 😓
edit - just saw your edit 😊 New Boards is strange..
Yeah, good shout on Raymond though. And I fancy Humphries tomorrow too. Chizzy usually scores well but finishing is his kryptonite.
I just about figured out how to edit on this 😂
Have gone for
Raymond Smith (v Mervyn) 2/1
Martijn Kleermaker (v Wade) 5/2
Think they both should be closer to 5/4 than their respective prices... As Ruby is wont to say, when he picks a 1/4 shot, "value bets lose too" 😆
Well, I think they've both got live chances.. Raymond Smith is rock solid on scoring and finishing, and Mervyn were a bit wobbly at times against Lennon (though he won 4-0 , it would have been closer if Steve hit a few of his many missed doubles)... Kleermaker has already defied the odds in beating The Wizard (Aussie was below par tbf) and he was a 3/1 outsider when beating Joe Cullen.. Can't fault the Dutch dartist at all, and Wadey's only had the one game thus far, on account of VVdV's enforced departure..
Matches down for tomorrow...
2 singles and a double..
edit - spelling/grammar/wrong word
I think Kleermaker to win and most 180s at 5s is a cracking bet. Will probably double up with Smith, but definitely value in the single there.
