Just seen this on lidl website 42” Full HD Android Smart TV - Lidl Ireland - www.lidl.ie
More specs here.
Would like to know if it has a headfone jack.
What is full hd 720p or 1080p?
Full HD is 1080P. 720P is HD Ready.
As for the TV it's not a bargain, just a normal price. Walk into Curry's and you'll get a same size TV with the same features in the TCL/JVC/etc brand for the same price any day of the week.
TV's like this are usually fine, more or less you get what you pay for. Good value for money, typically decent picture quality with medicore sound, not-great motion processing, etc.
Anyone got the model of the Sharp in Lidl, want to check the spec, presume LCD with twin tuners?
According to the Lidl UK site, model 42CI1KA
Its a fairly crap price to be honest and no one buys full HD now, at a minimum its 4K HDR. €50 more you'll get a hisense or TCL 4k.
I on the lookout for a 42/43 inch TV. Which of the two would you recommend hisense or TCL 4k? A good display would be my main requirement as I use a Fire Stick for my apps.
where can i get a hisense.. amazon wont shi and i think richersound only sell in belfast ? im looking for a 50-55 inch tv.
Hate to say it,,,,currys
Argos stock them.
Tcl or hisense?
Great deals in store at some tescos lads.
Richer sounds sell all over and deliver from Belfast to Cork
Richer Sounds are not shipping Hisense to the Republic.
Why not?
I have no idea. It's on their website when you select a Hisense tv. You would need to ask them.
Hi sense are muck altogether.
I was referring to them in general as I got items sent no problem
oersi wouldn’t touch anything bar Samsung
ok might cost extra but well worth it
and richer sounds 5 years warranty can’t be beaten
I believe they haven't been able to get a service agent for hisense in the republic so won't sell here as they can't sort repairs.
Have been buying from richersounds for decades and wouldn't buy from anywhere else. Top class to deal with.
It was in response to your reply to poitinstill's post:
6 year warranty.
Better still
Can anyone recommend a good 40-43" TV?
I have a Fire Stick so apps not essential but a nice to have.
Will depend on your budget and whether you want just a cheap n cheerful tv or one for nearly double the price with a lot of bells n whistles.
I'd look at something like this:
Decent tv with Philips' ambient lighting and also runs Android TV for a better range of apps. If you can buy it in sterling with something like a Revolut card then it works out a little cheaper again than the richersounds euro price. 6 year warranty from them too.
keep it local

isn't it very strange that the same model TV is exactly the same price from seperate retailers in Ireland

Reminds me of the Petrol etc in D15, all nicely priced along the same as each other
Im between this thread and the other as in the market for a 43 4K TV, I have a firestick and tired of looking at my non 4K Lidl one of ten plus years old
