A March was a fantastic month, dry & growth, we’d cows out
Weather is too variable here, there have been June days that had lower temperatures than today.
I notice the green leaves have started to grow on the fuchsia.
Dandelion out as well.
Probably an overhang from the very mild autumn, on nights harsh frost between now and April will put a quick halt to such things
16.5'C on the cars thermostat this morning in the South East.
39.6'C on the thermometer I stuck in my ear an hour ago. Booster has me in ribbons
Mind yourself rooster 🐓 might be just short term
Drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated.
I got the booster last Friday afternoon (Moderna) woke up at 4 in the morning with my left arm very sore. I couldn't move it or drive the following day with the pain even after taking nurofen plus tablets. The pain eased a bit on Sunday and it's only coming right today.
Won't be moving sheep here today that's for sure. Moderna like having a feed to too much cheap booze.
Is the booster Moderna or Pfizer? or does it depend on your first shots? Not due mine till after Christmas
I think if you got two Pfizer they are giving Moderna as the booster and if you got two AZ or the single J&J then Pfizer.
The first shots I got were Pfizer, when they rang me last week I asked and they said the booster would also be Pfizer. When I got there yesterday I was told it's Moderna, that they're the same family.
I got 2 Pfizer first time around. Was wrecked after the 2nd one. Went yesterday for the booster and it was Moderna.
So that's the rooster booster 🤦♂️🤦♂️
That horse won me enough to buy a playstation back in the day. I'd been having a good run that Cheltenham week and was persuaded to go all in on Rooster Booster. I said if he won I'd buy a playstation (PS2 I think it was back then), and anything left I'd buy cans with. We were huddled around the computer in Limerick IT watching it and he came home first. Onto the bus and into Game in town and made my purchase and got cans on the way back. Was a good crowd in the house that evening
Anyone know about customs clearance Dublin.
We get a delivery of chocolates from a cousin in Colorado every Christmas. The chocolats are held up in Dublin this year. All I seem to be able to do is get a Fedex tracking update, I have emailed Fedex support, rang their support number - who only advise emailing Fedex. Do I have to contact Dublin Airport or Dublin customs. Anyone been through this, is it a VAT thing with the USA?
The chocolates are unimportant - it's just a nice gesture from the sender. She has been sending chocolates to Ireland every Christmas since 2003 without any hitch.
Customs at Dublin has been the biggest delay to any parcel for me this year. I just wait, time of year certainly won't be working in your favour.
I know on the Cavan centre it’s Moderna all month unless your under 30.
I got Moderna booster Monday, Tuesday it was like I had a flu, arm wasn’t too bad. Was fine yesterday morning.
Had to get a part from Uk, paid €10 to AnPost with customs charge and administration
Paid over 500 (iirc) on the microscope I bought. Still, we cab comfort ourselves in the knowledge it's being well spent 😉
At least amazon have customs included. Did alot of shopping on irish websites this year. Got stung though on a set of goalposts that I thought I was buying off an irish website.
Just had contact from Fedex - Customs have released the parcel delivery.
Customs are probably up the walls having to check everything coming from the UK.
Tell me about it. I've an item stuck on a truck trailer in Liverpool docks atm and am told it ain't moving till Jan 5th
We’ve a package that was meant to be from the big man on Christmas morning. It’s stuck in Amsterdam. Ordered it last week from an Irish website. Never realised it was coming in from Europe. Will have to dash into shops tomorrow for plan B.
it was the main thing he wanted though so Pissed off.
See alot of people complaining about the claires website. Stuff ordered at start of December for Christmas still hasn't arrived....
Just had a lovely home cooked meal with youngest which is the first since he left for Scotland earlier this year and even better he did all the cooking. He did a antigen test earlier before coming back from Galway where he's been with the friends since he got back, I also did one this afternoon.
Is that for sheep egg counts, I have on my list to get a microscope for examining pollen in bee hives was thinking of fec as an aside.
Sorry for being a nosy
Antigen tests are the new After 8s.
