Bohermeen is a fairly flat course, good for a time.
Wicklow is quite hilly but nice and scenic, a good challenge.
Both are very well organized so can't separate them for that.
Did the Mullingar Mind marathon on Saturday. Very well run and organized event, was great to be back doing a marathon
Are we on borrowed time now?
Feels like today was a range finding jab before the big left hook in a fortnight's time.
Can't see any way the hospital numbers won't reach 800 by Dec.
Was thinking that. Also wonder will races have enough stewards if numbers are high!!
If the Wicklow half is the Goal break one, then bohermeen all the way. And the Wicklow one literally passes by my door, but I still couldn't be bothered taking part...
My local club 5k is back.
Dungarvan 10 Mile on 6 Feb now open for AAI members.
General entry on 1 December if any places remaining.
Yep entered Dungarvan myself. Hopefully these races go ahead.
Still places remaining for Dungarvan, just thought of it now and signed up. Something to get motivated for in January.
Mallow 10M on sale Friday, Dec 10th.
Tullamore Half Marathon in August opened up this evening for entries.
Brand new race opening for entries soon, the Tom Kelly 8K in Ardfert, Co. Kelly.
Race is scheduled for Sunday 16th January @ 9:30am.
Some man to have a race and county named after him! :)
Touché, love it!

Thanks for the reminder - had completely slipped my mind. Will be my first race in 2+ years should I make the start line.
I’ve signed up for Bohermeen. Anyone else? First time doing it and first race in over 2 years.
Signed up too and going to target this one for a pb, really looking forward to it. Nice course (2 laps with 1st lap longer) with a big field which really helps to pull you along. It was the last race I did before lockdown took hold by in 2020.
Might see you there! Seemed like an ideal run to get in 6 weeks before Limerick marathon.
I'm looking for half marathon (or similar) somewhere on the west or south coast in March 2022. Combo a weekend away and a run. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Here you go...
Rock and Road Half Marathon, Full Marathon and 10K – Kinvara, Co. Galway | March 2022
Signed up to this one as well. Looking forward to it, first time I'll have tried this one.
I've an entry for the Connemarathon Half on Sunday 24th April 2022 for sale.
Cost nearly €70 for a half (can't believe I paid that), happy to accept less. PM me if interested
Resolution Run back again on New Years Day in Galway 👏

Fat Turkey 10k (Sutton) cancelled today. 😔
Any plans for/talks of Streets of Portlaoise on Paddy's Day?
They had a ‘check back for exciting news’ post on their Facebook page earlier in the month. This was previously part of Pop Up’s Race Series, which I saw is also due to return this year so… positive thoughts?!
