New internal EO Comp announced yesterday, closing date 28th October at 1pm.

Assume that it’s 2 years service and off probation?

As per the information booklet eligibility is as follows.
Candidates must, on the 28 October 2021, have:
1. Two years’ service in the Civil Service.
2. Received a PMDS rating of “Satisfactory” at their most recent Annual Review.
3. Received a suitable rating on their Managers Assessment element of the application form and be suitable in the context of performance, sick leave and conduct.

Does the information booklet say anything about probation? I have two years service in the Civil Service but have not completed my probation for my current role in Revenue.
i can’t be sure if it did or not I can check on Monday. I don’t think it did
Sorry to go off topic but in order to work in customs at the airport do you have to be working in Revenue for 2 years before you can apply and is the application process competitive and do many positions come up?

Did previous Revenue Internal competitions have tests before interview stage?
Yes, they did. But they were held around the country, not just in Dublin.
Hi all, i received an invitation to online testing today. Last time it was interview only for EO internal positions, maybe they received high volume of applications. Has anyone any experience of AON assessments.

I got 302 in the OOM. Any idea if that's good/bad/so so?
I placed in the top 100 and will be called for interview before Christmas. I’d imagine they will do it in batches of 100 just based on previous comps.

Hi I interviewed last week too, did anyone get an indication of the timeframe before we hear back from CSD , I’d assume it will be after Christmas holidays at this stage?
I interviewed last week as well. But I don't think I did a very good interview. Does anyone know, is it a matter of passing your interview and retaining your ranking or are you reallocated a ranking based on your interview?

Does anyone know if the panel placement number is for county only or the country?
It's usually for the country.
I passed the interview and placed under 30, does anyone have any idea when offers will issue and how long this panel is for, I really hope I get an offer for my 1st location choice.
