I read an article during the week about how there are teams of people going door to door in multiple states attempting to "verify" votes.
Basically knocking on your door and asking if you really voted , if you voted in person or by mail etc.
This is the latest effort as clearly losing countless court cases the length and breadth of the Country wasn't enough to dissuade them.
I know what my response would be if some sham turned up to my door asking me if I had voted...
There's no path back for these people , there really isn't

At the very, very least.... we can be thankful it's a press conference rather than a public rally. But it'll just be a shout, angry attempt to deflect and distract. I'm sure his lawyers would be worried he might say something that can be used against him, if they knew how the law actually worked.

It'll be interesting to see if all sides of the press are invited and able to ask questions, or if it'll just be Newsmax and OANN asking him questions tying into Trump's narrative.

Well, his appearance shouldn't really mean anything. He's obviously terribly vain, which leads to that dreadful makeup and awful hairdo. But none of that should matter really. It's his extreme narcissism, petty mindedness and propensity to lie in the most egregious fashion that's the most repulsive thing about him.
Irrespective of his politics (whatever that is on a given day) he'd be much easier to tolerate if he was simply an honest provider of information. But he's not. He's nowhere even near to being such.

A stroke victim: A Capitol Police release the day after the riots said that USCP Officer Brian Sicknick “passed away due to injuries sustained while on-duty.” The report stated that Sicknick “was injured while physically engaging with protesters. He returned to his division office and collapsed.”
The New York Times, citing unnamed law enforcement officials, initially reported that Sicknick was struck by a fire extinguisher, but later updated its story to say that medical experts said he did not die of blunt force trauma.

Four suicides: Four other police officers committed suicide in the days and months after the riot.
The first was U.S. Capitol Police Officer Howard Liebengood, 51, who had been guarding the Capitol for 15 years and was on duty at the Capitol on Jan. 6. He took his own life three days after the riots.
Several days later, D.C. Police Officer Jeffrey Smith, 35, who was injured in the riots on Jan. 6, also committed suicide.
In July, six months after the riot at the Capitol, two Metropolitan Police Department officers who responded to the Capitol on Jan. 6 committed suicide.
