I really enjoy listening to Ken but I do wonder at times is he either just trolling or just trying too hard to be controversial
There's definitely a tinge of that the last couple of years. Maybe after 20 years of football reporting it becomes more difficult to fool oneself that this is nothing more than silly nonsensical entertainment and he should just follow his heart down whatever whacky point of view he enjoys.
Like is that not his schtick? Sure he has some opinions, him being an opinion writer but quite often he's got an irreverence for how seriously stupid most football chat is. ie the peno chat the other day.

At times there is definitely an anti Utd opinion from Ken which gets a bit tiresome (I don't support Utd btw) .
A lot of what he said is correct about Ole but the way he speaks of Ronaldo at Utd, it's as if he was performing as shite as Higuain performed at Chelsea. Gets a bit tiresome after a while

Ken describing Klopp's programme notes as being like 'An ambassador at the court of a Chinese emperor' gave me a laugh.
Tottenham v Liverpool being like a “Michael Bay movie” and “a dead rat in a bap” were particular good descriptions by Ken.

I found the Arsenal podcast guy very annoying. I don't know if it was the slightly smug tone of his voice or just his delivery/way of speaking, but I had to skip through it.
