This. Its actually the most opportune time ever to take hits when you know holding a player you have is going to deliver 0 points. So long as the new player starts, plays 60 and doesnt get booked the hit is only a -2 to what you would have had with a non playing player.
Similarly its the worst possible time to play a free hit just to get an extra 3 or 4 players on the pitch. These blanks mean double gameweeks ahead where those with the free hit chip can get 22 chances to score points rather than only 11 by using it this week. There could be a 50-60 point swing between using a free hit this week and holding off for the double gameweek.
Ah balls the Villa game off.
Remember to think in terms of the next few game weeks. Taking a hit might not be a bad decision but you need to make sure you like the look of your team for at least the next 3 weeks, not just this one.

The only thing with taking hits for players this week is that it's really only a -2 in a sense as the player you're replacing will get no points regardless. So instead of needing 5+ points from your shiny new toy and your 'old' player to stay quiet, you only need the new player to score 3+ points for it to be worth it, knowing your old player will still score 0.
I heard Bsilva is a niggle. I put him first on the bench and did the transfers. Seems to be very minor - but knowing Pep he will likely rest him.

Would seem a decent move, now that Antonio is missing Norwich its easy to see why people have lost patience with him. Even if he plays the next three he just isnt getting into the box anywhere near enough to justify holding him.

Was Salah not pictured on a "live" video call with Klopp at an event there was it yesterday? Henderson was suppose to be there but was "missing". If Salah was in danger of maybe having Covid, he would have been absent also and not sitting beside Klopp. Again may have been pre-recorded but was suppose to have been "live".
I'll stick VC on Cancelo anyway.... Or Watkins if I get him in as surely that game goes ahead as they can't call it off an hour and half before kick off.
