Many years ago a shrewd enough punter told me that whatever offer is up in lights for punters in bookmakers offices should be ignored and i should look elsewhere for value.It is something perhaps that i should have thought of before donating my score to Paddy.

Ha ha,i had not given up but the books are really crafty because the other enhanced bet today in Powers was 13/8 from evens Liverpool and Chelsea to win both halves and that bet has already been won by the books.
Chelsea at 2/1 with 10 left, i'll be happy if they draw, so won't feel too bad.

Well the books got it right again with the enhanced or "special" banner headline bets and got my 20 because i was bored or was drawn in because i wanted an interest.
Banner headline bets are bad for our bank balance and not just in football betting,these "value" bets highlighted by bookmakers are poor value regardless of the sport.
The score i lost tonight might be well spent if i learn to ignore such offers in future.
If the banner special is value, its value. Chelsea hockeyed Everton but drew. it happens.

I had an Acca which last leg was Liverpool & Newcastle both to have a shot on target in each half - obv came in first half.
then in second half Newcastle had a free kick and camera missed it and panned back as if the taker tried to lob Alisson from 50 yards and he just caught it - no replay was ever shown. Was this just missed by the stats or anyone know what actually happened there?
Whoscored have it as a shot on target which is run by opta and that's what pp use to settle bets so it's a winner
its not been settled as a winner, i know they use whoscored - is there somewhere that shows shots on target each half though in their information?
Sofascore also have a SOT both halves for Newcastle.
cheers lads i looked at the commentary in whoscored and they said shot saved 86th minute so mentioned to paddypower on the live chat and he said appears i'm right and will query with settlements team. mad they just weren't giving it!!

i think the Leeds game is a bit of a banana skin…. They just shipped 7 against city and in front of their home fans are not going to give Arsenal a second.
