I didn't see where they kept the hoover, or the bins.
It's another one looks like a public building. Great setting but not a house I would like to live in.
The drone footage over Bel Air showed some much nicer houses.
Why would anyone want to live in a house like that? It's basically just a hotel. Your little knick knacks and family photos would be lost in a place like that. Overcompensating much?
And it would be like a hotel even more when the cleaning crew come in to clean it up as I highly doubt the owner does it.
Exactly.
That's why I don't own a house like that.
😜
Can't believe I'm after finding this thread after about 2 years.
Used to love browsing through Funny houses to let, but just thought it had fallen into obscurity. Always skipped by the new title thinking it was a "through the keyhole" celebrity houses type thread.
Did you read the thread title in David Frost's voice or Lloyd Grossman's voice?
How about trying to find anything you've misplaced? Could take a week.
meh, you would just buy a new one.
3 year old?
3 year olds are easy to locate. Just follow the loud noise.
Every time this thread pops up in my feed, this is what I hear...
If you can hear them, they're fine, leave them be. It's when they go silent that they're up to no good.
In terms of gangsters paradise I was looking to buy a house in Dublin. No link but it was overly refurbished with no expense spared, googled the address and previous owner was drug dealer. House was sold once, up for sale again. I was not totally turned off, sure old owner is long gone. Then OH wondered if old owner was in jail, due to get released, and if might knock in to say hello. Or maybe house was sold to brother or relative for tax purposes, now reselling to launder cash to give to old owner. Anyway you could not relax any time the doorbell rang. It could be a disgruntled customer.
Before you buy a house drop into neighbours and say hello. Ask about seller.
Was it the Liam Byrne house that was on here a week or so ago?
No, just looked like ordinary housing estate house with a lot of money spent on updates, lucky I googled address.
https://www.daft.ie/for-sale/detached-house-2-an-pairc-wotton-the-ward-the-ward/3290267 - It strikes me as a bit 'new money', inconsistent and glitzy.
I remember myself and my then partner rented a house in a rural area and it was very nice, very good value just after the 2008 crash, but it was ridiculously huge for two people.
Unless you’re planning to have about 8 kids, or moving your entire extended family in or running a small hotel, it doesn’t make sense. We ended up with rooms we didn’t even remember we had. You just run out of purposes for them.
There were bathrooms that I never used, a downstairs shower and bathroom in the utility room that I think I washed my hands in a couple of times and that was about it…
It could be a really nice house - the decor is too cold as the moment with all the back, grey and stark white hard surfaces.
Change the decor and make it more cosy and it would be a lovely house. The price isnt too bad either for Dublin - seen alot smaller older houses with a bigger price tag.
That's the thing, it has potential but the decor is I think, incoherent. Some of the furniture clashes with the finish of the floors, light fittings etc. The 'feature wall' in the living room is somewhat questionable and clashes with the rugs, sideboards etc. As you say, it has potential, it just needs a better fitout.
When I turned goth.

You could kind of forgive them the outside, maybe all the recent exterior work didn't turn out the way they intended. But then the inside! The outside was deliberate! I reckon it would take about 5 coats of paint to completely obliterate that black on the ceilings and walls if you wanted white. I suppose you could paint it light grey, be like living in fog. Its actually a nice house, interesting layout and a good site, but I don't fancy their chances of selling it in its present colour scheme.
The rugs and the walnut sideboard in a bedroom are literally the only nice things in that house!
I had the shivers just flicking through the photos.
Horrible.
why dont americans have fences etc
Black, black all is black!!
Bizarre, the outside looks like a gimp mask, yet the interior is dotted with faux-motivational Live Laugh Love type crap
I'm not sure but something tells me they like black. Haha! 🤣
Fair play to them, they went all in, the whole hog, the full nine yards.
I particularly liked the "Today is a good day for a good day" one. I like it. I'm not a fan of brightness in general, so I reckon I could easily live in that house. Perfect for my gamer self really. Can't imagine the heating would be needed too often!
You'd wake up every morning worried you had gone blind.
I love it. Can see Edward Scissorhands pottering around there when he eventually sells the castle.
Jokes aside I love the look.
