" Alfie owned the shed beside Sophie's which annoyed her because she thought it came with the house. This was poor communication by the Real Estate agent. So he had a right of way to that shed. I believe her son eventually bought the shed."
Looking at the overhead of the area it's hardly surprising Sophie thought the shed belonged to her.
Alfie had no access to the shed without passing along the rear wall of Sophie's house,
and I can find no right-of-way for him to do this.
I doubt that can happen. The Irish courts have already ruled on the legality of the French extradition request.
Extradition was refused on grounds of the legal principles regarding extradition. The same offense has to exist in both countries.
As Ireland does not claim extra-terratorial juristiction over an offence committed against an Irish citizen in France, Ireland could not try a UK citizen for an offence committed against an Irish citizen in France or request their extradition therefore, under Irish law, France cannot do the opposite.
The important takeaways from this Irish Times article:
"However, the Garda has said that Ms Toscan du Plantier never made a complaint about anyone."
“We have found nothing to suggest the officer in question was involved with or ever had any dealings with Sophie.”
Is easily the most credible offender. Hope he's rotting in hell the odious cretin. You think his family would give closure to the family only trying to save face while half the locality are talking of them.
Very interesting, since this has only been discussed on forums such as this one.
I think this is very important. For the first time we have confirmation (beyond dumb internet forums like this) Sophie was so upset about a neighbour she considered going to the Gardai. This is far bigger than rows over a fence or a cat.
Do you realize the source for that quote is "A source".
Are you that dense or deliberately trying to mislead people?
Agreed.
In my opinion it makes it more likely that it was Sophie that went to the Gardaí and they are trying to cover it.
Hit the nail on the head
How do the Guards know that since this has always been true;
"Crimestoppers guarantees anonymity........"
Anything to derail the thread & point the finger at Bailey, its been a common theme on this thread from the beginning from a number of posters.
A few comments before, you were saying you think the Dead Gard Is easily the most credible offender. And that you "Hope he's rotting in hell the odious cretin". And you think his family are hiding their knowledge of his guilt because they are "only trying to save face"
Since I am "dense" by your estimation, could you please explain in an intelligent manner, your reasons for claiming this?
I don't trust Barry Roches sources one bit.
He's either been given deliberately false information from the gardai to throw the scent off this lead, or he has unreliable sources he didn't verify.
This thread is the main place that it's been suggested that it was Sophie who went to the gards about Alfie, which makes it extremely interesting that it's mentioned in this article 🤔
The Garda said she never made a complaint, that a fairly credible source.
😂😂😂
Somebody, who was unnamed, made likely an unnoficial complaint.
I believe it affected the legitimacy of the warrant to raid Alfie, but I'd have to find the article again.
@PolicemanFox might know?
Who is this deceased guard from Bantry, what's his name?
That is true. Just speculating, but it could be related to her belief (via Josie) that Alfie took a bath in her place.
Did you also notice that we also got confirmation that she did not make any complaint to the police?
And that there is nothing to suggest she ever had any dealings with the Dead Gard?
I got downloads of the land ownership. If accurate it shows Afie's name was registered as the owner of his gaff AFTER Sophie bought hers. Now maybe be squatted in it or rented it or lived in it some other way. But his ownership was definitely registered after Sophie.
Also a few years ago the contentious little triangle of Sophie's land Alfie needed to cross at the rear of Sophie's was sold to him. So there was obviously some ongoing problem.
Yes but it also says he retired in 94, which is completely untrue.
thus why I do not believe this is factual information.
So let's all discuss the factual information that the "Dead Gard" theory is based on.
Let's all share what we know.
Not on this thread dear.
you go ahead tho
You don't have to name names.
You can lay out your reasons for believing this Dead Gard theory without compromising anyone's anonymity
It was called "Basil Bush" not "The Basil Bush". As I said before it seems in 1981 there was a female child G Lyons there. And unless Alfie's hobby was making jewellery a woman A Lyons. Maybe Alfie and Shirley bought Basil Bush from a different family called Lyons but given the interest in Bailey's backstory it is just as relevant.
And I don't know where you are but we don't call people handling house sales "Real Estate Agents" we call them Auctioneers so your in depth "knowledge" is obviously not first hand.
It’s been discussed in this thread numerous times. Happy reading!
One more time for luck.... Your reasons for believing that the Dead Gard theory is credible.
When someone is quoted they are named. "A source" sadly is not.
It's as credible as it being Bailey.
Im completely open to any and all suspects however, it's important to remain objective since there's a lack of factual evidence in general with this case.
The case smacks of a garda cover up tho.
The postman? Oh, I forgot, he delivered Alfie's Monday morning post on Sunday at 6 p.m. how convenient.
