Well that little dalliance came to an abrupt end.
Sorry to disappoint you 😆
I don't dalliance with people on boards anymore.
You`re right too. Never know who you might be talking to.
Previous poster on this thread, regained interest with latest "news" from Nick Foster.
I always maintained there wasn't sufficient evidence to send Ian Bailey to prison for murder IMO, but I'm also not 100% certain he didn't do it.
However, some of Fosters "theories" in recent months have seemed to be stuff of fantasy. A while back he claimed to know what was said by Sophie when her murderer came to the door, I can't see how he could possibly know that. Is he claiming someone overheard her murder?
This new tidbit about a stolen watch also seems to be farfetched. Is a murderer really stupid enough to steal a watch from the body and give it to a loved one and tell that person he took the watch off of a woman he just murdered? Some of his revelations have seemed to crossed the line to crime fiction.
Probably no coincidence that Christmas is coming up, logic would say he's probably looking to peek peoples interest in order to sell a few copies of his book. I imagine he's disappointed that practically no mainstream media or newspapers have been reporting on his "revelations".
I hope I'm wrong because it's pretty disgusting if that's what he's at.
@tibruit are you and @cailin rua not one & the same? Why are you querying @GlossBox about reinventing themself?
Right??
You could be a total pro Bailey person playing devil's advocate!
Imagine 😂
and i answered it. you may say the priest and doctor are not the killer but you do not know that either. you assume as you assume bailey didn' do it. it could be someone completely unknown to us
you started the personal insults. and you called me a bollox .i couldn't care less what someone on the internet thinks of me but i did not say that to you. you only have 31 posts. i never had any contact with you till tonight. whoever said we had a thing is wrong.
you won't get very far investigating a murder if you are that sensitive.
Nope, I never insulted you whatsoever. You were being a bollox, own it and we'll move on.
I've made it clear who I am, we've had many interactions
Not in the way @tibruit thinks mind you 😆
Absolutely not.
Save yourself, he just wants to argue with everyone.
You probably missed the schoolyard fighting earlier with flanna that brought the heavy gang in, I only saw a bit of it cos modmins deleted comments, but it was embarrassing.
Naw, the editing is back. You do make things confusing Souly.
We've had this conversation about sensitivity, remember? Think back.
You are right in all your observations.
He's talking rubbish, and keeps trying to present one far fetched theory after another as fact. All it does is rile the twitter trolls up more and give false hope to Sophie's poor family.
He needs locking up.
i saw the schoolyard fighting but i missed you "making it clear who you are" is it you that's in it scoober? The old scoobarooni?
why did you leave and come back?
I'm not sure what i insulted you by but i'm sure i was responding to an insult. Too sensitive scoobs
This is hilarious.
The aftermath.
Getaway, disposal of murder weapon, disposal / removal of all possible forensic links clothing & footwear, assistance to calm down etc, etc, alibi, poker-face for months..
All Cleaned up carried out as an individual.... or with help?
I vote help... solid help, family help.
i know a dentist who will do it cheap
he does not understand what certain means
Tís me. Thought you knew that, did explain upthread!
I didn't know that when you posted . I do now. I was off line for a few days investigating in west cork
Seriously?
So I won't have to travel to Eastern Europe?
Your a gem 😆
Alfie and Shirley are less likely suspects, there was no attempt to conceal the body or clean up the scene. There were only three people up that long, concealed lane so they had at least a full 24 hours to stage a missing person. They would have known they would be the first to be investigated. If Alfie did it and then left his wife to find a beaten and bloody body then he's a complete nutcase. Shirley would have known if he left the house or came back bloodied and in a state.
Not sure where this comment sprung from, but please do expand.
You are suggesting a conspiracy that involves family members, yes?
Is a murderer really stupid enough to steal a watch from the body and give it to a loved one and tell that person he took the watch off of a woman he just murdered?
The first part is quite common. Killers regularly steal jewelry, possessions, (even vehicles sometimes) from their victims and also either keep them, sell them, give them to a wife or girlfriend. Shockingly common.
The second part, no. I know a few cases in which a murderer's wife/girlfriend knew the jewelry came from a victim, but it is extremely rare, Usually in that case, the woman would be aware of what the murderer had done, in league with him, or views the murder as justified ("she attacked me first").
In certain types of murder cases, especially where there is a sexual motivation, when searching the suspect's house, near the top of your list of items to look for would be items from victims, the most common of which are ID cards, keys, jewelry, watches, clothing.
buy my new book "from a bollox to a gem in just ten minutes"
I'm intrigued. Feel free to pm.
It will get @tibruit mind racing if nothing else 😁
I'm totes gonna buy it.
Is it available on pre order?
Not saying they are likely suspects but whoever did it, he would not have had 24 hours to clean up. Finbarr Hellen and Leo Bolger had animals to feed, Josie Hellen was calling over in the morning.
Alfie got an injury skating years ago that didn't heal right. Excuse-moi? Skating, where? how long ago? A bone injury? I've had plenty they don't flare up. A muscle injury? tendon? ligament? I've had both again they don't flare up. What did the doctor that saw him diagnose? Imaginitus? What really old injury could appear like a recent injury? That all sounds a bit bananas. Where did the talk of dog bites come from?
Maybe from the part you say he's looking after a dog for a friend and it dies shortly before the murder. Did he bring it to the vet? What did he say? The friend must have been livid. Would you give a dog to a friend to mind that's dying of old age? Really doubt it.
All these stories feel like they are overdone. Like the typical over embellishment someone who's lying makes. Is there any photos of Alfie's injuries? or perhaps an old skate buddy who corroborated the skating accident story? How about the friend that gave him the poorly pooch? Surely, he/she was found and we have a report which authenticates that yarn?
The old restauranteur sure had a bad few days there. You didn't manage to say anything about where he was born, where he came from or anything about his past. Any AGS reports? Multiple foreign languages? Untrue?
Is Alfie is to remain an international man of misfortune and mystery?
Theory is coming from Nick Foster's spate of recent tweets, I would imagine. He seems to be hinting that Jules and her daughter(s) were involved in the cover up or knew Bailey did it and he bullied or threatened them into silence. It seems he's saying that it was one of them who was given the watch that was apparently taken from Sophie's wrist.
Appears to be a load of b*llocks to be honest, but open to be proven wrong. Firstly, why would a murderer gift an item that he stole from his victims body to his lover or lovers daughter, and them knowing were it came from.
Secondly, is it likely that a person who has gotten away with a horrific crime for 25 years would be stupid enough to confess/confide in a woman he wasn't married to and that woman's daughters. Would you really be that sure that those people were going to keep your terrible, dark secret.
I could be understating Bailey's ability to threaten, but any of those women could have put him away for life by going to the police. Why would they instead choose to live a life of fear for two and a half decades.
