With these VIP treats it is like waiting to unwrap a pressie under the tree... 50 percent off a wine of your choosing would be a nice one and would avoid stock problems.
Still havent forgiven them for getting hopes up with the 25e credit though!
I was in Lidl at the time. Checked my discounts were activated as I went to the checkout and then these 4 €25 vouchers show up. Successfully activated and used one.
Assuming I had won the vouchers legit in the draw, I planned to keep the rest for a turkey, a ham and some xmas snacks, then they vanished after I got home. If the kids weren't being difficult I might have gone straight back in for the ham so felt a bit gutted but at least I got to use one. Must have been some frantic calls from store managers to head office in those few minutes!

I got to use 1 of the 25eur vouchers... It would only let me activate 1 at a time. Looks like someone messed up and issued 25eur vouchers instead of the VIP vouchers.

Which I think is a farce too, I don’t have an issue with alcohol being on offer etc but there’s 4 VIP offers and all are drink in some form or another

In fairness I wish I hadn’t seen them. Knowing they were there and then taken is one thing.. actually seeing them with your own eyes and watching as they were ripped away is another, much more devastating trauma.

Glad I didnt check the app yesterday and fall foul of the phantom 25 euro vouchers, pretty annoying stuff to happen others.
Otherwise some treats on the app, eggs, sausages and streaky bacon all on it so thats a few breakfast frys sorted. Two fillet steaks for 6 euro is a bargain as well as far as fillet steaks go.
