Bring! It! On!
I care about all of it, it was most enjoyable.
Plenty of non Irish people are not 🐓s and plenty of Irish people are 🐓s. This isn't an "800 years" issue here.
He will be the first caller on LiveLine tomorrow apparently.
So you care more about Toto's meltdown more than Max actually winning it.
Thank you for proving my point.
It was a landscaping business haha
Shh, Susie doesn't know about that yet.
Rubbish, the way it happened especially Totos epic meltdown makes Verstappens victory all the sweeter.
Good to see you’re a different way.
Irish people are happy to see Max win because Lewis is a co ck as are a lot of non Irish people.
Ultimately the best driver won
Wasn't it a sex shop that he actually ended up outside instead ?
I have been following F1 for over 30 years, A number of years back myself and a friend ran a F1 website that was for a time number 1 in Europe and Ireland/UK and 3 in the world for news and information. We had Press access to every team and ran competitions with teams supplying us prizes including broken wheels and wings from Jordan in Monaco when crashed and other car parts. In all the years i have been watching that was an amazing finish to one of the best seasons in a log time.
No matter who you support then you cannot deny the drama and excitement, RedBull enjoy and well done to Max, Merc accept the loss and move on, there is always next year...
Probably.
Open to correction but ..
The other point is that on similar tyres with back markers no chance. With no back markers better chance. With better tyres it was a done deal. Double whammy.
You could argue Red Bull had nothing to lose and everything to gain by Pitting, that's not true for Hamilton.
The decisions gave Max every advantage. Which he took with both hands. But tires make an enormous difference.
Having looked at the Regulation again I don't think 48.12 ever fully applied.
The "LAPPED CARS MAY NOW OVERTAKE" message was never sent to all cars so the second part of the rule didn't apply. 15.3 gives the Race Director full authority over the use of the safety car and as such his decision to clear the backmarkers between Hamilton and Max was under that and not 48.12. Then once the "safety car in this lap" message was displayed 48.13 applied and it has to come in.
Probably like plenty of Irish people delirious that Hamilton didn’t win it, equally hilarious but I’m a different way.
Oh neither do I, not at all. It's just come up here a few times tonight as a dig. Clutching at straws IMO.
I think the initial decision to not allow lapped cars overtake was that Latifi's car had not been cleared yet, so for safety really.
He left with the QC dude live on SSN without saying a word
Here
What was the tweet?
Plenty of the British sports people are very bitter over it, it's hilarious to see
Legend, he was spot on.
I'd say he probably couldn't control himself and wasn't the right man in the right frame of mind to go in.
He has been apoplectic quite regular this season.
Was the first race that i have watched in years and really enjoyed it but I can't understand why the FAI are getting involved?
Strange thing for me is that Toto was nowhere near the appeal. There was 3 mercedes lads and Toto wasn't one of them. I actually haven't seen him since the race finished.
I think Brundle was referring to the regulation which says the safety car has to come in on the following lap if allowing any lapped traffic to overtake, which we subsequently know Masi can change if he wants.
Ah I was just having a bit of crack
And goes against what all teams agreed on, end the race under green flags, which gave him the mandate to do what he did regarding back markers and restart.
Ah, I was given the impression or took the impression that they didn't have enough time. That was from Brundle on commentary I think.
My favourite part of all this is the foreshadowing where Wolfe instructs the race director not to give them a safety car earlier on
The race director is entitled to change his mind. if anything this sport has told us, it is the very complex and dynamic nature of the sport and its people.
Would Verstappen have run out of laps by the time this done for all back markers to pass ,suppose don't matter now.
