Bring! It! On!
Mercedes are terrible people. Just awful. What a lack of credibility they possess.
And also the part where it states that once the lapped cars overtake then the safety car comes in the following lap.
George Russel have earned his bonus even before he races
Last sentence of second to last paragraph "once the last lapped car has passed"
Yeah but only if the message has been sent to all competitors via the official messaging system.
I'm not saying that did or did not happen.
Mercedes being a bit like the petulant child in all this. I have decided to boycott Mercedes Benz road cars, convenient since I can't afford one anyway. I shall unfollow them on twitter as well, that will surely teach them to be better sports
Where did they say that. I haven't seen Merc comment on anything yet.
Whatever about protesting the result, protesting that Max might have put his car 10cm ahead under safety car is extremely petty and confirmation of what a horrible and unlikeable team Mercedes are.
By only telling the cars between max and ham to get out of the way, which isn't in the rules. As explained many times. How else do you explain Masi throwing the rules out the window to put max behind ham and one more lap before it should have ran?
Is it clear ? Martin brundle said the rule was brought into to stop lapped cars from interfering in the leaders which seems like what they let happen, but I think it could have been done in a much better and less messy way which to me is on Michael massi.
Mercedes have called Special Counsel Mitch Connor into the stewards room.
The person I was quoting used the word luck.
No, it can't.
Good to see Mercedes taking in lawyers, who they clearly hand on standby.
Makes a mockery of them saying that they wanted it to be run on the track.
There will be no neturals next year, there will be Mercedes fanboys and everyone else will be hoping they suffer like hell under the new regs.
According to what was said on BBC. No direct quote but apparently they say that this is why Masi shouldn't have felt it was just about racing.
Didn't think there would be a bigger shitshow than last weeks shambles but here we are.
Gonna be a fair few days/weeks before settled.
In fairness to Lewis he was nothing but gracious after the chequered flag. Is he making the same protests as toto?
They definitely are a horrible team but why are people pretending red bull wouldn’t be doing the same here? It’s a controversial call on the last lap that decided the world championship, literally every team and every individual on the grid would be complaining about this if they were in Mercedes position.
Especially when it was for 0.1 of a second and he gave it back and gained no lasting advantage, unlike Hamilton in lap 1.
First paragraph, “on the lead lap”
The hatred for Merc is rather amusing
I can only imagine what would the reaction be if roles were reversed 😂
Duplicate post
Shame the season ended like that
In fairness this is Toto Wolff and not Hamilton. Hamilton's been very gracious. Unfortunately the actions of Wolff will reflect negatively on Hamilton.
The FIA have brought in their top man
Big credit to Hamilton and his dad so far. Both been very gracious so far
I'll be neutral, still laughing at all the moronic conspiracy theories, mental gymnastics amd lads acting like they caught Toto in bed with their wife and mother!!
It's also funny all the conspiracy theorists on this thread all season saying the FIA wanted Hamilton to win. They are now silent.
Well then why doesn’t it say ALL and not any ? Using any in rules leaves it up to interpretation which isn’t great.
Dog, Cat, Apple, Orange.
Are any of these animals? Yes.
Are any of these fruit? Yes.
Are all of these animals? No.
Legally, everything can be open to interpretation...
'Any' will correspond to a subsequent defined criteria Any Cars That Have Been Lapped By Leader - under that defined criteria Ricciardo, Stroll and Schumacher should also have been required to unlap themselves the same as the other 5 drivers
