Bring! It! On!
I'm very happy to see Alpine finish 5th in the Constructors Championship.
Hamilton would have been nowhere in Imola but for a red flag. He also lucked out with SC in the past. That's life
Sainz finished 5th in the championship. Great result. And Ferrari finished 3rd. Hope they can push on with the new regs next year.
The only decision that went against Mercedes today was a decision to correct a previous decision.
Well, aside from the own decision not to pit
It's gas Lap 1 Vertappen robbed. Lap 58 Hamilton robbed.
Seems the RD is biased against both sides
What rules did they break last week?
**** him :D
Cockyness
Against all odds?
Safety cars bunched the field and he outsprinted a car on wrecked tyres.
He kept his head, and did what he needed to do, but it was no David v Goliath.
Nevermind the fact he had a better car for at least half the season. Just like Lewis did.
Regardless of rules here, Max still had to overtake, and he did brilliantly.
These men are geniuses!!
Hamilton has seven championships so it's hard to feel sorry for him, but he was harshly treated by the race director here.
You mightn't like Hamilton and despise Toto Wolff, but that race was handed to Verstappen. Hamilton had the race won with ease before the crash
And if they did they would lost track position. Especially that last safety car, it was never set in stone that the race would get back underway.
RB’s strategy was to do the opposite to Mercedes and they had nothing to lose.
A lot of people speaking in hindsight here when the circumstances would have changed completely.
Lewis deserved the win today but that’s the way it can go with safety cars.
Both had great seasons. You would have to be very biased to think one was the clear winner. Glad to have a new winner in a two horse race.
Really hoping there’s a tightening of the pack next year.
Well, let's see if they decide to appeal.
It's a feckin TV show get over it!
Come on, its more than odd. Let them all through or let none of them through.
Don't only let the ones through that suit you and then hit the restart button.
How can people handwave that away so easily? Its supposed to be the race director for gods sake.
Hamilton very gracious in fairness
Verstappen was complaining while the situation was happening, he never in his wildest dreams expected to restart side by side with Hamilton, but that's what they did.
Sainz 3rd, Yuki 4th and Gasly 5th. Excellent result for them!
Plot Twist: Michael Masi secretly works for Netflix
Race directors have been manipulating rules all season to favour one driver and we were told it was ok, but it’s a problem today, funny that.
I'm very much on team Verstappen but that just seems like a farce. That being said, it's nice to see a farce go in his favour for once.
Hamilton was just remarkably unlucky. I don't think Merc got it wrong, RB were always just going to do the opposite, and there were risks either way.
What a finish. Well done Max.
merc complaing abotu breaking rules is pritty ironic considering all the rules they broke last week
Yet they will still manage to change the story 😊
Absolutely insane. INSANE!!
I am so, so happy for Max. It’s so great to see the best driver winning. I said he’d need to be lucky and good!!
Honda too deserve a huge amount of congratulations for leaving it all on the track before leaving the sport.
Conversely, but of retrospection needed for Mercedes. Wolff was cannot dictate terms of the race. He was disgraceful today.
Hamilton will be back and fully motivated next year, the battle with Max will be amazing!
What a season!!
Maybe they did
/x files theme/
Well as was pointed out on commentary that Mercedes’ asked Lewis about tyres and then didn’t bring him in.
Masi is such obnoxious individual in how he communicates. F1 really needs to get rid of him.
I also can’t stand the invasive camerawork. Standing in front of a teary Jos Verstappen, interfering with his experience of his son’s win, and zooming in super close on his face make me want to turn off the TV.
