It wasn't a fair one lap shootout. It proved nothing in that regard.
Merc lost Hamilton the race though. They could've brought Lewis in a few times to change tyres, even under the VSC and they didn't. I can't help but fell Merc have to take their own blame too. If Lewis was on softs the same, he would've held onto the win
