The best thing to do would have been to red flag the race no then have a standing start for the final 4 laps.
As much as Mercedes might think it's hard luck, Red Bull nailed the strategy when push came to shove and Mercedes didn't.

The decision for the first lap baffled me, the stuff at the end baffled me. Balanced out in the end.

I think it's contentious because the FIA only let certain cars unlap themselves and not all the lapped cars.
Then dont let the lapped cars change at all. Removing only the ones between them is not process and a disgrace.

The FIA knew Max was likely winning if they restarted, and they know Lewis was definitely winning if they didn't.

Max has been amazing this season and over the season the best driver but the stewards won the race for him today with a bizarre move
Funny that Mercedes now moaning about safety car not staying out when earlier they were moaning that they didn't want it to come out at all.
Toto was a disgrace today to be honest trying to run the race.
Right ending to have them 1 vs 1 but it was ridiculous there was so much toing and froing with the decision making.
