It's all falling apart alarmingly fast for Boris Johnson across the water. How long you reckon he has left as British Prime Minister? Hours surely?
How many parties are they talking about now? I've lost count.

I think it is actually "The Honourable Member for the early 20th century" but similar :)
I rather like "the haunted pencil" lol
She's a complete moron, even by modern Tory standards where anyone with a shred of intelligence or integrity has been pushed out the door. I know someone who has worked with her before. Notoriously unintelligent, apparently.
I’d be delighted if she got the job, it might see the conservatives voted out a bit sooner. It would be even worse if someone equally as sinister as Johnson but more competent got the job.
Ah yes, good old Rees Mogg. His nickname around The House of Commons is "The Minister for the 19th Century"
She would be an absolute car crash....
I thought the obvious one would be Rishi Sunak, but now seemingly another party involving him....that won't help!
Shocking alright. Clearly, very few of the current cabinet show any degree of intelligence but she's particularly ill suited any job above operating a photocopier.
Liz Truss is the favourite to take over seemingly....lol...
The teflon coating is frayed and things are sticking.
If Paddy power had odds for Jan/Feb I'd be taking them. Unfortunately they just have odds for the year.
Speak for yourself, not for the rest of us.
Maybe just a coincidence but Johnson made that shambles of a speach a week or so ago.
Bringing back the old bumbling Boris that made him so popular in the first place.
No, we didn't. This is just the usual Conservative corruption and venality on full display.
Johnson is very fortunate that his wife gave birth at just the right time; it has served as a much-needed distraction from the hysteria about No.10 parties.
Let's face it: we all attended parties or gatherings of one kind or another last year at Xmas. It's nothing more than moralizing hypocrisy that Johnson is being targeted in the way that he has been.
Yeah it came out at the Grenfell Inquiry that Kingspan knew their insulation (which was designed for high rise towers) failed fire tests but they pushed it out onto onto the market anyway. Even though their product was only 5% of what was on Grenfell the larger problem is there is a lot of tower blocks in London where 100% of the insulation is Kingspan. Other insulation companies failed tests too, Celutex was one as L1101 said. But the whole scandal has everyone who lives in these tower blocks asking questions if they are safe, should they ignore fire brigade instructions if a fire breaks out.
AFAIK it has had a big knock on effect on lots of tower blocks in London and all around the UK, In a lot of cases the residents are being expected to foot the bill for remediation works to properly fire proof the building they live in. Costs depend on the size of the block but it can be as high as £80k per owner.
Dear oh dear
Celotex. Name was all over the media.
if by whipped you mean being able to read a story and pick put the bullshit from the facts, then yes, I am whipped.
They didn't write their name on the side of a Mercedes maybe
Also a former MI6 spy, governor of an Iraqi province and was Prince William's private tutor. And the hedgehogs, who can forget his immortal hedgehogs speech in parliament.
The man isn't yet 50 and has done more in those years than most do in 10 lifetimes. One of those interesting people you'd love to spend an evening over a bottle of whiskey with.
Rory Stewart is a legend , imagine a pm that cool! Walked from Iraq to Nepal and delivered his own baby at home as medical help was delayed 😂😂
He's Teflon. Doesn't give a fiddlers.
Only 5% of the insulation used in the tower was kingspan so who made the other 95%? Why are they not being named and shamed?
You are way off the mark there.
Kingspan are up to their eyes in sh1t.
They didn't design the insulating or cladding system for the tower or know that their insulation was going into it BUT they produced the product that was deemed suitable for installation on the tower based on its certification. Certification that Kingspan knew wasn't right but basically were laughing about passing the product off as something it was not.
Mercedes dropped them fairly rapid too.
Either you retract those accusations or post evidence of them
Hit and run character assassination is not on
Ahh come on, own your opinions, or past ones maybe.
Regardless of it, we'll get back on track.
I thought kingspan had falsified some safety certificates which allowed them to be used as insulation on high rise buildings
What are you on about? I've never posted anything even mildly racist. If anything my biggest objection to Patel is that I think she would go way too far with her already heartless anti immigration policies.
Absolutely not. And don't you dare accuse me of that.
Gove involved himself in the controversy about Kingspan’s sponsorship of Mercedes. And when you look into it Kingspan are not to blame for the Grenfell fire. I can’t help but think it’s because Kingspan is an Irish company that he decided to raise the issue. More of an opportunistic attack on an Irish company as revenge for irelands stance on the Protocol.
