Does anyone know if I return an online purchase(made with perx card) can the funds be returned to my perx card? Can't see anything on their website
Strange i bought two cards on dunnes site no bother
Popped into the bricks and mortar shop - got sorted... Thanks for advice.
Cheers for the reply.
That's the part I'm having difficulty with. When on the DS website; when I input the Perx card details it returns an error for the billing address. Did you included your own personal address or Perx HQs?
Online…it will come as email..you can use gift card for purchase on site or pay for groceries/stuff in store !
I'm getting caught out with the billing address; did you purchase in shop or online??? Thanks in advance.
Buy dunnes e-vouchers !
so annoyed paypal and revolut are now blocked
if anyone has any fresh ideas on how to turn these perx cards into cash I would love to hear them
I managed to register but the card is showing as blocked.
Sent an email to them but no reply two days later.
Is anyone able to register their perx card this year? The system is down when I try just wondering if anyone knows what the issue is?
Trying the Paypal trick again this year but getting an error sending, saying the card issuer is blocking the transaction. Not sure the T&C mentioned it before but it seems Perx no longer allow payment to Paypal accounts:
While a Card is designed for use at any location worldwide that displays the Mastercard Acceptance Mark,
Perx cannot guarantee that a particular retailer or business will accept a Card. Cardholders should always
check with the retailers before attempting a transaction. Additionally, Perx may block a Card for use with
certain businesses to prevent the use of Cards for unlawful or unauthorised activity, such as:
5.2.1 money transfers (i.e. transfer of the Card Funds to a cash account);
5.2.2 gaming transactions (i.e. the use of the Cards with gambling organisations);
5.2.3 charitable and social organisations (i.e. the use of the Cards to donate to charity fundraising
organisations or receive funds from same);
5.2.4 video entertainment rental stores (i.e. the use of the Cards to rent on demand video
entertainment); and
5.2.5 quasi-cash transactions (i.e. where the Card funds are exchanged for a token or other instrument
which can be exchanged for cash (for example, on Paypal, Revolut or a cryptocurrency
exchange)).
Anyone know can you get a refund put back onto the card from an online purchase? I want to order clothes online, and just checking incase i need to send anything back after.
I can’t see a definite answer here or on their website.
Thanks
Used it to get dunnes 100€ voucher and €10 free as part of dunnes offer !
You can use it on any online shops as well..just getting them into bank account is not easy now which is fair enough
Seems a lot of hassle when you can transfer it to the likes of Dunnes, tesco or lidl and use it for a shop or a plethora of other shop vouchers with no fees.
I've just linked a perx to paypal and transferred the whole thing (sans fees) to the missus.
Now the tough part... getting her to send it back 😎
Last payment against the Perx card was 20th Nov, according to my wallet
Hi, I was googling to find out why I couldn't transfer to PayPal anymore and I finally got it to work so I said I'd register and post in case anyone else does the same. I had €60 on a Perx card.
Logged into my husband's PayPal account and created an invoice for €60, sent to my e-mail address.
Received the PayPal invoice, selected the "Pay by Debit/Credit Card" option instead of logging in to PayPal.
Used the Perx card to pay the invoice. Additional Verification needed (six digit code to phone & confirm one recent transaction from a list, it'll be v obvious)
Husband received €57.61 after fees, which I transferred Friends & Family to my own PayPal.
So it did take a couple of Euro but at least the money is in my PayPal balance now so can send to bank.
HTH!
That's 3months ago. It may have changed.
Used one on all gifts and bought a voucher
Yep, I got one in October and I've used it for a couple of purchases.
Have you tried it recently? I did and it didn't work. It worked fine last year though.. They must have copped on. I think I'll just use it to buy a new phone or something
You absolutely CAN add it to your Paypal and use it for Paypal spending.
Will be refunded to the same card. Bookies are exceptionally strict on that.
Remember, these cards are designed to have no method to get cash out - otherwise they'd be breaching the Revenue rules about the small gifts excemption.
anybody any more luck with getting the money off the card? Tried paypal..no good!! what about loading onto a betting site?
I've used mine to make some payments via Paypal and they've gone through OK.
No, it's just another way to pay for your Amazon purchases. You can also use it to part pay, with the balance from your card. I get Amazon gift vouchers from another survey crowd and it all goes into the same pot.
Very interesting, thanks for that. Can funds be withdrawn from Amazon?
Just updating this. Perx customer service replied to my email within 48h. They said you can't use the card on Paypal, but that my Amazon top up was declined because the amount was in excess of the card value - so either Amazon is making an extra charge on top of their own currency exchange rate, or else their rate is wrong. I lowered the amount and it went through no problem leaving just 40c on the card. So topping up your Amazon account with Perx cards does work, just watch the amount. And Perx customer service was helpful.
i wonder did you get your card to work yet? I tried my latest virtual card on Amazon where I'd used a previous one successfully in July to top up my credit - it was "declined by the card issuer". Same story on Paypal when I tried to use it to send money to my OH. I've emailed Perx but am not hopeful. I even merged the card contents with my last successful card but then that was refused too.
The card came from RedC so next payout I'll be requesting a cheque!
If you use amazon.de you can purchase a gift voucher in EUR.
I read that and took it that it meant if you are buying perx cards they have issues with accepting card payments to pay for them We'd use our corporate card to pay for them if we were to buy them, but it looks like that's not an option at the moment. I'm trying to decide between the perx and one for all. We've given one for all cards for the past few years.
