It has been like that since the change.
No, standard ps5.
On a sidenote, something tells me the reply count might be off in some threads
Nope
Is it in VR?
This, just this!!
Its a long long time since I have been blown away by graphics in a game but this is just an incredible experience. If you haven't downloaded it then do it now.
Just had a look a few game awards trailers
That hellblade 2 trailer looked excellent the first is a fantastic game so really hyped for the second, skipped the elden ring trailer as i want to go in as blind as possible now this close.
Excited for Alan Wake 2 as well, though sam lake like kojima is one who promises lots so will wait to see how its panning out.
Horizon was nothing new really so will pick it up on the cheap at some point or at least when Elden is done
There, fixed :)
A few demos I think but nothing playable.
I believe STALKER 2 is the first major release set to use it. I’m still not entirely convinced that game will actually exist though 😆
I don't think we have really seen any Unreal engine 5 games yet???
Oof, that Matrix / Unreal 5 tech demo is quite the showcase. It’s very much a tech demo and not anywhere near an actual game, but jaysus if that tech ends up looking nearly that good in actual games… we have quite the generational leap to look forward to.
Just sayin' that Metroid Dread is game of the year material.
Love the look of the new Mothership, though having it flat will prove controversial :P
That soundtrack. Still sounds so good.
It's not the only RTS update either: Shiro Games, maker of Northgard are developing a new 4x game based on Dune;
Huh? I've been using quick resume on PS5 since launch date last year and never had a problem (except when games annoyingly close themselves to auto update)
So, The Forgotten City is all kinds of class. I thought I'd throw it on for 20 minutes and head to bed but had to 'peel' myself away after 2 hours. Really interesting story and characters, great little setting and so many leads to follow up has me constantly going on the right direction even if i don't what what that really is, always making progress.
Such a joy gaining new info, tools or shortcuts to change situations has me legging it back with a grin wondering what will happen. Deserves the praise it gets on here.
Homeworld 3 Gameplay Trailer, looks stunning!

A lot of Irony about Ark Evolved claiming someone stole their source code.
Anyone recall their DLC fiasco?
It works if you switch between a small number of games regularly. But if you've got loads on the go ...
I'm just streaming Halo to my console. I know nothing of these download and load times.
I'm playing Formula Retro Racing, an arcade racer at the moment. It's good fun.
A somewhat random article, as unless I'm being blind I don't see any anniversary or link... but this was a fun read all the same: the late, great Terry Pratchett was a huge fan of Thief 2; as if I needed any more reasons to like the man (and lament his passing).
If Metroid dread runs off a cartridge, why does it take so load to load...
Pfft, talking about all these quick load times. Sure NES, SNES and Megadrive were doing this ages ago. 😀
As the owner on a PC with a NVME that is faster than the PS5 SSD, load times still don't reach PS5 levels and it's going to be a long time before games are made with windows 11 direct access features. It's going to be a big positive for the PS5 for a long time.
I'm playing R&C Rift Apart and have been startled a few times at how quickly (basically instantaneous) it boots to game from the title screen.
I instinctively tend to pull out my phone when I'm expecting a loading screen, so am caught off guard when it just starts immediately :P
I just remember with returnal having no suspend feature that suspending the system and booting it back up was causing issues. I think that's the feature I was talking about rather than a resume game feature.
I don't use it for Xbox, I always close my game when I'm done. But I'm always jumping between games, so maybe that's why I don't use it.
With modern systems, the boot to start time is comparatively negligible so seems like a pointless feature to me. But if it's wanted, I'm sure it'll be implemented to appease.
Console plebs finally catching up with PC *
*Climbs back under his cardboard box and into his sleeping bag because he can't pay for heating since his GPU cost so much but at least the PC can warm the room when playing demanding games.
On a serious note, is the quick resume on PS5 fixed yet or still broken?
Edit: just checked, seems it isn't a feature yet.
