    Really violent atm, winds seem to be pushing lots of stuff all over the place outside.

    Lots of noise of rattling and so on.

    I have just looked at met.ie and wish I hadn't. In all my years here I never remember seeing anything like this.. Approaching apocalyptic.

    My "keeper" candle is lit; ie stays lit in case the power goes. Darkness out here is... I once when I was new literally got lost outside as it is totally black and blind, and that was scary ... Never done that since. Learned the real meaning of blind panic

    Stay safe; the power will not hold here but we are safe and snugged in, my cats and I. Never a worry and my wee phone is charged up.

    Cork city north side myself and I am at the very top of it , after waking from it it’s quite bad already,


    wires outside blowing mad, rain hitting all the windows hard so let’s see how this gos I think it’s only going to get worse
