I been on that on and off for the last few years. It's a pain the hole. But it can be good as I think it builds up resistance. The only thing is the they are very strick on lumps, no inconclusives.
Under 30 months for 20 cent bonus.
Under 36 months for 8 cent bonus
Was talking to a farmer the other day, she said bvd is a terrible problem in her area. Is it true an affected herd can sell again after 6 weeks
Don't think there was a story. IMO a public servant ran away with themselves and we all received those letters. As far as I know there has been no talk due to GDPR but stand corrected.
I'm surprised that DAFM are sending letters to neighbouring farmers advising them with details of the name/address/herd number of a herd that is restricted in their locality?
No idea, I've one which says I've the lowest risk, but now I'm on 4 month tests. I've been receiving notifications for years about TB reactors on the same neighboring farm so can't see how they are worth the paper they were printed on.
What's the story with the tb ratings the Dept sent out last year, are they still a thing?
Wear gloves also They will smell humans off the traps and bait and won't touch anything also I think it usually takes a few days for a rat to take to new baits
I think he tried all that but the neighbour is a bit of a wagon. One of those ppl involved with the residents association who your better off not falling out with.
Is it 30 or 36 months to qualify for quality assurance bonus in factory?
I suggest that you bait the traps with a little bit of fatty rasher/rind that was browned off on the frying pan and make sure you wire it into place with your greasy fingers to disguise the human smell - the feckers can't resist it.
As an aside, 5 or 6 years ago my rottweiler Bella (she is my profile pic) ripped off the front grill, bumper, mudguard, the under skirting around the wheel arch & engine, damaged the bonnet and drivers door with teeth marks on a eight year Combo van to get after a rat in the engine compartment.
Was speaking to rentokill today, said it goes in at night and to put out poison as well as traps. No evidence of it last night
You can advise your friend (from memory) it is against DCC rules to keep cockerels in the City. I will have a look later on for where I read it.
We were told same. Had a clear test because of high rates in the area, test again in 4 months. Bit if a pain
He could ask his neighbour to keep the cockerel in the dark until a more reasonable hour. They only crow at daylight.
Clear Test here today 😀
All good, but have to do a test every 4 months for the foreseeable due to constant breakouts on a neighbouring farm.
Did you try getting your hand on a Ferret?. Wont be long about moving house with one of them in a cage in the car.
Incidentally, my childhood best friend is now living in Dublin. The neighbour in an estate has a load of poultry in the back garden including a cockerel who crows at 5am in summer. Theres been talk of me sourcing a ferret a bit like in the general lol

Your wife is some woman kollege. Mine wouldn't go into the same yard as that car, never mind drive it knowing that yoke was in it.
How to find the dead rat afterwards, by smell? 😂
Park it is a pond
Would you think of pumping exhaust fumes into the car, seems to work on films for humans anyway
When you think about, humans are terrified of snakes and spiders. Anything that scurries along the ground. It must be in our DNA.
From my experience horses show fear at white lines on the road, traffic cones, wheelie bins, and the dreadded plastic bag. Just about anything that wasn't in that position before.. And I still love the feckers.
That's an interesting series of facts and I seem to remember reading something similar about horse's and rattlesnakes in America. The last native members of the Equine genus went extinct in North America over 10,000 years ago. They didn't make a reappearance until the Spanish explorer's arrival in the 15th century. In spite of the absence of any previous interaction between European horses and rattlesnakes the former showed extreme fear when confronted with the snakes from the outset.
A nice Christmas video from Horsewear Ireland.

Rats who have never seen a cat, bred in labs for generations, go demented with fear when they smell cat pee.
They'll scream for up to 24 hours on seeing one which is the equivalent of a human screaming nonstop for a few months, lifespan wise.
The other rats send out the one who saw the cat the cat the day after to see if things are ok.
Can you bring it to a garage and get them to look in the area by the center consul? Say there's a strange squeaking noise coming from it and it sounds dangerous.
You won't be a liar.
Have to admit Jeremy Clarkson is very funny. And he's a natural born salesman.

I was in a scrap yard 1 day, fairly fresh avensis been let off the tow truck, Paul that owned the yard told me that insurance company had written it off because there was a rat in it. Paul thought the rat might have chewed a few wires but he wasn't sure as it was driving fine and no lights on the dash or anything.
I can see it now. Car is set alight. Rat jumps out of car and straight into the other car. ( There's a scene like that in The Simpsons.)
Get a Cat and leave it in the car in a cat cage. Smell will drive out rat.
