I walked myself into that one....I will put something together there later
Go for it.
I'm terrible at excel😆
I think that would be a great idea. Too many variables at the minute. If you want to do any sort of analysis, you find yourself having to flick back to previous posts to get details of slope etc.
I was thinking myself a while back it might be useful to set up a google docs excel sheet so people can input their monthly figures that way we could do some proper analysis of the numbers everybody is generating.....what do ya think
I had a bit of time on my hands so I totalled up all the generation posted here since the start of the year and it came to 115 MWh which is enough to power 27 homes for a year (@4200kWh).
That's a lot of energy for one thread, I will give totals for the end of the year although I don't expect much change for December.
There are new people posting here all the time so it will be interesting to see the numbers grow next year.
That's great for a relatively low kWp system

Nice one Andy! You were setup roughly about the same time as myself (last week in Oct me) and your kicking my butt. My details for this year so far are
Energy Data : 2021-01-01 ~ 2021-12-14
Generation to Home: 140.9 kWh
Generation to Battery: 2.3 kWh
Generation to Grid: 1 kWh
Total: 144.2 kWh
And I've a slightly bigger array (5.3Kwp split 1.4kwp exactly East/3.7 Exactly West). Also in Dublin like you and it's sunny out there today.
South facing arrays , or even semi south facing in these months of winter really improve the production. Still I'll get my revenge in high summer when I'll be producing more at 4:30am :-)
Just hit the 200kWh generated since going live about 7 weeks ago!!!
Just about to post an update on the battery options thread.
Battery size hasn’t increased yet :-)

The first of the four months every winter where I miss not having a south facing install.

Lil Bit exported on the "good" days at the start of the month when batteries were charged to 100%.
Should be doubling the battery storage in Jan.
Already past the 400€ per year "saving" prediction on the Solar only, and 20€ short on the 400€ prediction on the battery system.... yay for increased energy prices!
On track for a 8-9 yr payback.
Finally, the summer is over, and I have generated more solar than I used. 11.5kW system, central Texas. 48% of power consumption was produced at time of generation by the panels, the rest went on credit, the net export was used to offset some of the natural gas bill. (Local utility supplies both gas and electrical), but because of the horrible 'excess' sales rate, it dropped the bill very little. I get a 1:1 kWh credit for exports if I use the credit within the same billing period, but excess left over after the month is sold for about 15% of what I buy for.

I would think I might have got to over 150kWh if it had been there for the whole month, I seem to have missed out on a few good days at the start of the month!

One thing I noticed is that East/West splits really aren't great in winter.
That's super generating
