Thought the Kaitlin Thompson interview was a very good listen. Always find her very charismatic and she draws you in to topics I otherwise might be inclined to skip. Usually left feeling enlightened after listening to her, rather than just going boringly more into the weeds on some soccer topic with someone like jonathan wilson.

I agree with you totally except for the fact that Johnathon Wilson is actually one of the best contributors and when he is on with Ken it is fantastic.

What do people make of Dion Fanning? I'm not sure what to make of him. Some episodes he can be good but other times I'll zone out listening to him

He can occasionally be good, but he can be fairly forgettable. He often feels to me like a poor man's Ken. The two of them are quite similar in a lot of ways.
Delighted to hear Eoin confront Ken about the absolute scutter he has been talking about Ronaldo. Ken has really embarrassed himself this season, his arguments against Ronaldo have been wafer thin.

Not a massive fan. It feels like he's always trying to land highlight reel moments with witty analogies and trying too hard for a knockout line. He needs to keep it simple and not try to over-complicate everything.
Dion has his own podcast for a while and it was good but he went down a Brexit rabbit hole with every guest talking about that and I think that what was caused its demise

Ronaldo will definitely have a good goal scoring season - as he always does.. But if you look at it objectively, we're a quarter of the season through and the manager has been sacked and they're a mile away from the top of the table.

It's not. But you won't win much if you're caught between two stools when it comes to pressing.
And have been playing demonstrably worse this season too. Now, it’s not like he’s the sole factor in that - but Utd were the second highest goalscorers in the league last season, so it’s not like goals were a problem that needed to be addressed. I mean, it was clear they had no interest in signing him till it looked like City might right at the end of the window.
Ronaldo still brings a lot to the table as a player, but he’s the solution to a problem that didn’t exist.
