Great offer. Remember to put a reminder in your calendar to cancel before the 12-months expire.
Edit: Suggest using PayPal to pay because the Times website currently has some issues with card payments.
Any way of getting the Irish Version of the ePaper on Sunday (I can only get the UK version (which I can download))?
Sorry - I see my question was already asked - looking forward to a reply.
How about we divide it in 10 and have a rota?
💪💪💪💪💪
Bit annoying that you can't pay unless you log into PayPal...
Is this a separate app? I am only seeing a link for the epaper which opens in a browser window.
on a separate note this was the bargain of the Black Friday imo - thanks OP!
Have ye the Curve app? It worked immediately with that for me.
Anyone?
If you can download the classic tablet app (since replaced by the universal app) it displays the Irish Sunday paper as epaper.
Just to let everyone know, I rang them up yesterday and asked to have my subscription moved to this 12 month offer. Peter, the guy I spoke with had to check it with a manager but he was able to do it. I told him the truth, that I would be cancelling and simply creating a new account if I wasn't given the offer on existing account. He was very reasonable and got it sorted
Would you have a link to download the classic app? It's not available on the play store.

Thanks but that is not the classic app mentioned. It provides an external link to view the epaper.
Great deal. The epaper option via the pressreader site isn't great, I would expect to have a native app. Irish times one is very good, I find myself reading even more with it.
it's not available (or even supported) anymore - only available to people who had downloaded it prior to 2019 i think.
Was hoping someone could apk extractor and upload it if it still works.
There is a Pressreader app that might be easier to use. Log in with the Times account.
Euro for Euro this was the best Black Friday deal I have seen. Thanks OP!
I've just registered and if I look in my account it says €5 per month. I'm on to chat support and they're telling me the same thing. Can you see €5 per year in your account settings ?
Mine shows same actually:
product title: The Times Ireland Digital Edition (€5 for 12 months)
I had technical problems and registered through the web chat and it says product title: The Times Ireland Edition - €5 per month
I quoted the twitter offer to them and they're sorting it out
Trying to set up sub now - yeah at the 11th hour - I see my Revolut was charged €1.19 (GBP 1) instead of €5 and on the sub page, it's just hanging at payment. Opened another window and it says "no active subscriptions".
Tried another card, same thing happened. That card was charged €1.18.
bizarrre that they CAN display it as an e-paper but would stop it!
My Times login didn't work on pressreader.
Hi Guys ,
Great offer , did anyone get a way to download the Irish epaper ? the app and web are only giving me the UK option .
Thanks
B
I asked The Times about this today using their live chat system on https://www.thetimes.co.uk/help#
They said the Irish Version of the paper is not available as an ePaper.
There's no irish daily paper anymore, so I guess it doesn't make sense to make an epaper version then?
it's the Irish Sunday copy I can't get on the e edition or the UK .
Did anyone else get hit with a €5 charge in the past few days?
I was debited the correct €5/yr fee on the 29th November, but again last night, which shouldn't have happened.
$4 to read what are thinking
