Oopsies more problems for the trump family methinks

Hmm, I don't really buy any member of the Trump family putting themselves in a position that directly ties them to organising the Capitol Riots, but if it has to be someone, you just knew it would be Eric. If the Trump private jet were flying across the Atlantic ocean and had a major failure, Eric's position in the family would be quickly downgraded from 'son' to 'ballast'.
Well it appears it is Eric
Son to ballast 😂😂 I think only ivanka would be completely safe and the others would be chucked if needed to. And yeah I mean wasn’t it Eric who said on the record that the trump organisation gets all its money through Russia ?
and burner phones ? Yeah because that on the up and up. Burner phones to me used when you are doing something iffy and you don’t want people to know.
Yeah, in fairness, there is a lot of "according to" and "Sources said". The type of stuff that trumpites use to lie about election fraud. Hey, I'll believe it if I see evidence and it wouldn't surprise me but unsubstantiated rumours work both ways
That's just echoing what Rolling Stone already reported. To me, it makes little logical sense that a member of the Trump family would be in direct contact with the rioters because it's such a big risk for them . Get the secretary of state or something to do that, some degree of separation (fall guy) if it all goes wrong.
Eric is the fall guy.
More proof, if any was needed, that Trump couldn't give two f***s about the average joe. Everyone is disposable to him. Loyalty is a one was street and he is only out to make money...
you would really miss the heart-warming messages full of holiday cheer that trump posted on twitter. compare and contrast
He really is a pathetic piece of sh1t
Sounds more like he gave a long press conference about how the election was rigged and he won, and then said "Happy Thanksgiving Military" at the end.
there is no doubt about that at all.
Follow the money
nothing new there. that has been the basis of the case they are building against him for a long time.
Trump was plenty strong on condemning white nationalists, a couple of times. Let's face it... there is, or was, nothing Trump could ever have done in his presidency that you would commend him for.
I wouldn’t hold my breath. He won’t get done, Eric is the highest ranking Trump they’ll get.
If he’d organised it properly I would have commended him for pulling out of Afghanistan.
If he’d stopped the drone strikes instead of hiding the statistics, ditto.
He didn’t condemn white nationalists enough. That’s the opinion of the white nationalists, not just mine.
He was given a chance to condemn Q anon, and said he didn’t know anything about them except that they liked him and loved their country. He told the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by”.
I don’t actually think Trump was a fascist or a white nationalist. He was a useful idiot for them though.
I’d commend him for getting hammered in the election.
So it looks like I was right.
Well, if you could post an example (Don't say "I have already") of something an honest decent person would consider to be good then we would probably think about that for a bit and voice an opinion. Something another president wouldn't do in a similar situation.
right about what? This level of debate is below you.
A couple of times?
A couple?
How is that good enough for you?
Do you not think a president (or a decent human being) should condemn them every ****ing time?
Why is the bare minimum from him acceptable to you?
Why must you defend him when he should be better?
Have a think on those questions and then come back to me.
If Trump isn't a racist, why is it his staunchest supporters are racist pieces of sh1t?
Do you know how bad it has to be in order for an apology to be dragged out of them?
If she had a modicum of decency, she'd resign. If the GOP had any decency, she'd be expelled.
Personally, I'd say he did an excellent job at making the US (and himself) an absolute laughing stock on the world stage. I'd give him huge amounts of credit for that. If that's what he actually set out to do, he did an absolutely expert job at it. Go Donnie!
Boebert is a disgusting individual. Truly. A perfect poster-woman for the Trump GOP, all the same.
I like the way Boebert's apologising as if it was a miscalculated remark and not a directly bigoted statement. Like, there's no room for misinterpretation, there.
But Boebert is a symptom more than a cause. The more worrying thing is not Boebert herself, but that she had enough political support to find herself in the position she's in.
Her faux apology was disgusting 'I'm sorry if my words offended you' rather than apologising for the statement itself
You claim that not enough evidence was presented in over 60 state, federal, and US Supreme Court court cases to overturn the election results in states that voted against Trump in 2020? That was over 60!!!! And they all failed! This would make for a poor fictional novel plot.
What do these Trump associates have in common? Steve Bannon? Tom Barrack? Elliott Broidy? Michael Cohen? Michael Flynn? Rick Gates? Paul Manafort? George Nader? George Papadopoulos? Roger Stone? Allen Weisselberg? They were all charged with a crime. What does this say about Trump? Trump has not been charged yet. But he was impeached 2 times. This will be part of the Trump legacy. TRUMP'S ELEVEN. Historians will note this. Not since Nixon has there been a president with so many associates charged with a crime. It will also be a factor when he runs again in 2024.
It should be a factor in a functional society with a functional democracy but the US is just an absolute mess, so they could elect Trump again and make him their lord and saviour for life. A rather large portion of the US see Trump as something to aspire to. Until they come to terms with those views, anything could happen.
