Got this today, thanks OP.
Sorry should have said from tomorrow.
Do you know 538ml or 500ml cans?
Supervalu
Dunnes
Going North at the weekend, Sainsbury's have 25% off 6 bottles of wine again so that's excellent timing. Some beer offers but spirits seem to be cheaper down here in many cases.
Any Hop House good deals?
Yes nearer Christmas they tend to have better deals on spirits. The one beer to watch is Carlsberg it's only 3.8% up there and muck, Heineken on the other hand is 5% up there and delish.
I always wondered why the Heineken was a higher % Brought a slab home from Wales a few years back and I think it was 4.8% while it's usually 4.3% here.
Different branding in different markets. It's 5% in the Netherlands.
Has anyone ever seen an offer on Moretti ?
they could sell them 2 for 35 if they wanted, as they could be a multipack themselves, just wrap tape around 2x24packs and do not offer single 24 packs for sale.
Used to be 3.4% in the UK until they brought it into line with what they sell on the continent in the Noughties.

Does anywhere have the 500ml slabs of bulmers on offer
rather than the 440
Jaysus. 3.4% is barely beer at all.
12 330ml bottles for €15 in Tesco. You will be hard pushed to get better.
Any idea where is the best deal for the Guinness surger cans? Any place I saw them today was 6 for €15, is anywhere doing better than that? Full slab of regular guinness for €20 was just a bit better value.
I’ve been looking around and 6 for €15 seems to be the price everywhere
They're gaming you to charge twice as much for the same product.
Financial advice better than the last SSIA scheme...

Aldi 02/12
that's a price we won't be seeing again for a bottle of plonk
Eh, Aldi have standard cheap plonk for that price
fair enough, we still won't be seeing it after December.
Apparently the excise duty on a bottle of wine in this country is €3.19 so between VAT and cost to actually produce the wine, Aldi must be selling at a loss at €3.99.
today
24X cans Carlsberg and Heineken €20
20x bottles Carlsberg and Molson €14
Yeh loss leader. Very common.
Headline offer looks good but for some of the wines they have reduced, the "was" price looks on the expensive side.
I paid €12 for Oyster Bay not long ago in Tesco and now they have it as €15.
Super Valu has Apothic Red at €10 which is the same price as Tesco reduced price.
On the other hand Faustino I 2010 is a 94 pt wine (JS) @ 16.80 euro in Dunnes, lowest i've seen it.
Marques de Riscal - 14.90 in O'Briens, Cune Grand reserva 16 euro supervalu. There are some decent prices there but there need to be sought out.
And Tesco have marquis de Riscal which I would put an par with Faustinaw 1 is at 15 euros. No reduction. Usually retails at around 19-21.
Just chceked, Cune Grand Reserva is 14.67, thats a decent price
