Your accountant can do it or you can do it through Revenue.ie via myAccount or mygovid portals. Can't post the link for some reason.
Use an accountant as well - send then high level details of any medical expenses as part of annual accounts.
Thanks, OH was following Google instructions and got so far, I’ll contact Accountant
Anyone venture to the fatstock in Carrick today? I went for awhile after work and it's like being in a different world. I was there for the sale of the heifer weanling classes. The roan trend is still booming, anything coloured is nearly guaranteed €3000 and from that upwards.
A limousine cross heifer around 400kg made €18,000, that's surely some sort of record. She opened at €10,000 which I think was the highest price previously at the last sale. The springers at €4000-€6000 are starting to look value compared to bulling/weanling heifers at between €3000-€5000. How long until we see a heifer of some description breaking the €20k barrier? It won't happen this year but it's coming down the line for next year I'd say.
This evening i was looking at five smashing Saler x Limousin weanling heifers that a neighbour bought last week in a local mart for an average of €700 each, they should make super cows, it would make you wonder.
Watched some of it online…..saw the 18 k heifer being sold…..crazy money considering she is a Commercial heifer….realistically how would you ever get the price back out of her?……everything would have to go right.
This is a bit like lads spending €5k on a road bike when in truth a €600 bike from Halfords would be sufficient for them.
its hobby farming pure and simple, buying something they like because the want it and they can afford it. I’m not saying that’s wrong but it’s not a commercial decision
It's similar to s Ponzi scheme except lads go in if there own volition. It will crumble the same way the deer did back in the 80's when lads got scalded as well. At present it demand over supply. In 4-5 years time with excess supply it will collapse.
I wonder would they like to buy some tulip bulbs....
Saw these revolting looking "bad buys" in Aldi today. Being displayed among proper real food.
Mislabelling, or what? Streaky bacon rasher -
Does anyone actually ever see anyone buying this stuff
My first time going and really enjoyed it. Some stock on display. Ended up buying a bull 🙄
His pic needs a caption. " Does my bum look big in this "
He's lovely - best of luck with him
They might - if it was displayed in the fruit and veg section. You wouldn't expect to see a vegan/vegetarian shopping in the meat aisle.
Well done, what's the plan for him? There was some cracking stock on display and a great atmosphere. I always enjoy it although I'm strictly a spectator, it would be a culture shock for both of us if I bought something of that calibre. A friend of mine bought a cracking SIM heifer for €1650, she must be the guts of 600kg and I think she'd cost the most of it anyway atm.
It’s really an unnecessary product.
we would occasionally have a dinner with no meat but it would be made up of fresh cut vegetables and beans rather than some hyper processed rubbish with god knows what in it.
Hoping he'll bull a few cows in time. There's a lot of blue in him, azl X imperial X epi X rocky. Just thought he was very right in the legs and had plenty size and length without being extremely muscled like some of them. Hadn't intended buying anything when I was heading up. Same story every time I go to a mart though 🙈
Do you bring the trailer, just in case?
Do you still have the Charolais and Simmental bulls?
No, a friend had a heifer up there and I brought him home in his trailer.
He looks a right one and I'd agree that he looks to have lots of power and scope without being a total block of muscle. I'd know very little about blues as there very much a minority locally. The biggest reservation I'd have about them after calving is that an average BB bred animal isn't as saleable around here as a comparable CH or even a LM.
I thought it was very well ran yesterday and a credit to all involved. It was nice that F. McGowan got to sell the highest priced lot himself for a change, it's a great achievement for them.
Ya and a lim aswell. Sim is in a different herd number tho and don't want to be mixing.
A proper Stud of bulls so. What did the boss say when you told her you had another one bought?? The windows for the house will have to wait a while longer.
She's nearly worse than me. I'll going to move on the charolais as well next year I'd say. Just too much trouble with him. Kinda need three bulls to keep everything served because the farm is so fragmented.
Ya sure that was always the case with them really. He won't see too much action next year, I'll try him on 2 or 3 good red lim cows and see how he goes.
Fantastic day for the end of November, got a ton done.
Passed a speed van this evening at about 15 km/hr over the limit. Be very surprised if I escape even though there was some traffic coming the opposite way and might have gotten between me and the van as he was on the far hard shoulder.
Watching the postman myself for the past while 🙄
You'd get away with 5km maybe 8km over at a push.
There's a few kms then in the difference on purpose in the speedometer on car and your actual speed. You'd see the difference if you've google maps on when driving.
You may ..be lucky...??
