I have never watched Star Trek, so wouldn’t have a clue. When I googled “fereng” it came up with a Hungarian name, and I was trying to figure out which well-known politically incorrect Hungarian person it was other than the leader of the country. Maybe posters should not presume everybody had a niche interest in a tv series to have some penny drop.
I still don’t know what this Star Trek creature does or doesn’t do to resemble me in some way. Though I don’t wear make-up I’ve quite a pretty face and don’t have to shave .🤣 I think poster has some other picture of me in their mind’s eye.

I can understand the need for it when the business has been told they are not allowed trade though.
Back of the envelope calculations are always off but watching this I think the course of action is clear.
1. Booster jabs for everyone as quickly as possible. All hands on deck in the mass vaccination clinics for one last big push.
2. Vaccinate the Under 12s in schools etc.
3. No lockdown. Keep the economy as it is now until the booster programme is done then fully reopen.
4. Let the anti-vaxxers take their chances with natural selection. If they are right that natural immunity is all you need they will be ok. If they are wrong it's no real loss to society.
