Big difference in fairness. Stream quality gone upto 7831, very noticeable for the football and F1.

Definitely, my biggest issue with Now was the low framerate in football. It's a lot better now with boost, I think I'll keep it after the 7 day trial is over.
Yeah It's a big difference from the regular now stream. Definitely have seen the difference in the darts and the F1

On my LG tv if I press the ok button it shows the stream quality as 7831. Before I got the boost it was 4391 stream quality. Not sure how to check on other devices I'm afraid.
I think i will keep the boost.
Watching golf now and it looks so much better. Of course the other advantage is the 3rd screen aswell. Sometimes the kids will want to watch separate things, so for €3 per month its very reasonable
Yeah that the picture quality but there is also a frame rate improvement for the likes of sports that’s not available on LG TVs at the moment unfortunately but I’m wondering if you watch via a firestick on an LG tv would that show the improvement? Probably not!
It's an independent device so I would say it should be showing the higher frame rate. I reckon the only reason for the LG TVs still showing the lower frame rate is their app. Hopefully they will update it.

Something I noticed with Boost and Amazon's Fire TV devices (specifically the 4K max in my case) is that you need to change the Display format from Auto to 4K 50hz otherwise you'll still have a stuttery image and wont see the benefit of Boost's higher frame rate (there's an option in Fire TV settings to Match Native Frame Rate but it doesn't seem to work on the Now app for whatever reason)
But would you need to change it back everytime you were using a different app?
Haven't tested that yet, it's possible though. I'm not sure how something at 60fps (like Youtube) will act at 50hz
Edit: Just gave it a test with a Slow Mo Guys video and it seemed to be fine and smooth as I expected so doesn't seem to cause an issue there
