I'd be interested to know if the firestick is better, have you tried that yet?
Yeah It's a big difference from the regular now stream. Definitely have seen the difference in the darts and the F1
Definitely, my biggest issue with Now was the low framerate in football. It's a lot better now with boost, I think I'll keep it after the 7 day trial is over.
I wonder if they will bring in ads during streaming for boxsets for standard memberships (without boost) I believe that was introduced in the UK
Any codes going😀thanks in advance
Big difference in fairness. Stream quality gone upto 7831, very noticeable for the football and F1.
Can really see the difference on the PS5 connected to my QLED Samsung. Thanks for the heads up - been waiting for this for a while.
Signed up for the free trial but not gonna be of much use to me here with my Xbox plugged into my LG TV.
Yeah I only used it on the movies so got the full HD benefit, had been looking forward to seeing the better frame rate on the sports but I have an LG TV, would it make any difference if I used the now tv app on the firestick instead of the tv app?
Just the sports. A bit disappointing about LGtvs but luckily I have a PS5 to use, but the best picture I get is when I cast to my Nvidia shield.
Thanks, I just knew my eyes weren't decieving me.
It’s full HD compared to HD I suppose so you'll only notice it on a big screen. Did you watch sports or movies or what?
Yeah, kind of disappointing with LG not having 50fps, hoping an update addresses it but I won't hold my breath.
According to this you won't get a boost in frame rates on XBOX or LG televisions

Tried Boost on PS5. Wired, 500mbps connection and it stalls every 10 seconds or so, doesn't seem to work at all on the Now TV stick but seeing as that's wireless I expect it to be even worse when it does
Edit: Got it working on the Now TV stick by signing out and back in as suggested above. Seems to be working fine so maybe there's an issue with the PS5 app. The resolution isn't as noticeable as the uptick in framerate is (this is on Sky Sports at least)
It's working now, solution was I signed out of account and then back in.
edit: Im not sure it's working correctly. I'm on an LG TV and receiving the 7831 stream quality. Watching sky sports but it doesn't look any better. It doesn't say HD in the top right.
its working fine for me for the last few days. what device are ye using? ridiculously, their small print states boost does not work on desktop, android or ios. https://help.nowtv.com/ie/article/what-is-now-boost
Just on chat. It's not working yet. Says it only is starting today and doesn't seem to be turned on yet
i did, don’t see any difference.
Anyone else sign up for the boost free trial? I can't see any difference in quality.

Yes I might give it a watch myself, we will benefit by it being on an hour earlier than normal with the US not yet put their clocks back.
Oh it must be that so. Lucky for me, will get the 24hr pass and watch the ufc. The msg event in 2017 was best I ever seen, and 2016 was pretty good too when McGregor won.
They have the Alvarez boxing on BT Sport Box Office, at that time, I think they may only be able to facilitate one PPV event at any one time, I could be wrong.
I thought it would be ppv, with it being the annual msg event and the fight itself is about next big to a mcgregor event. I thought this event and the Poirer fight in December would be ppv.
Yes it's scheduled on BT Sport One

From what I can see, Usman v Covington this Sunday morning in msg is not ppv, therefore it can be watched on now tv via their sports extra pack. Is this correct??
iptv is higher quality and way cheaper than this muck
