id be surprised to see the same pack again. Like the look of the backs though.
Either way, you just know someone’s scrotal contents are getting a mention one way or another!
That was a spelling mistake, my apologies, what that was meant to say is "The opposition he faces in the premiership IS a massive step down from what he will face at test level". Im not quite sure where you are going with this? What's the point you are trying to make? Is it something about rugby or are you just being a twat?
You are arguing with yourself on this occasion I'm afraid, I dont know how this discussion became about testicals but each to their own I guess.
Like Balacoune getting a run atleast, Would like to see one of Frawley or Hume get a bench spot.
I see you’ve moved on to female genitalia. Again, progress of a kind. 😉
You love rugby so much you even call a women's genitalia rugby, or is that another side tracking comment?
Pretty obvious he meant to type 'is' rather than 'isn't' in the first post, no?
Carbery may have nailed his kicks with aplomb, but he still has a huge amount to prove in open play, I think. Can he be more robust in defence? And is he even an outhalf in attack? - capable of positioning himself in the right place enough of the time and selecting the right pass with the right timing after the defence has developed in front of him to bring others into space?
The coaches have shown a huge amount of faith in him, and these new attacking systems with less emphasis on the outhalf directing everything give him the best possible opportunity to do well. He can just pop up whenever he wants almost, and leave others to direct things sometimes.
He needs a big game (assuming he starts). This would have been a real opportunity to get Harry Byrne significant minutes at Test level.
Perhaps but OldRio asked pretty reasonably for clarification, and instead UAEguy got pretty condescending. His tendency is to, let’s charitably say, be negative.
He’s the only poster I’ve seen on here who’s called people twats, c*nts and told posters to f*ck off within the last few months. That’s before getting to Andy Farrell’s supposed shortage in the bollock region, the gutless coward.
Anyways, I’m taking a break from this place for a few days. It’s just not worth it at the moment.
The ignore function makes it all so much better. A liberal use even more so!
Definitely something I’m gonna start.
He know's it too, he's just trying to be clever.
What did I say that was "condescending" ? That's a pretty subjective term though, what some might consider negative others might consider just being brutally honest or perhaps is offering constructive criticism. I never called anyone those names I just said you were acting like one, completely different circumstance. That's you taking what I said out of context as per usual, try being less analytical would help in these discussions. Cheerio
This ignore is handy. Thanks for the tip.
Carberry has it in spades, will he fully blossom, I hope so. The man is young, supremely talented, smart and a great athlete. I hope he becomes our 10. If not I'll be disappointed for him. Still curious about HB, BH and JC. We also need a fb or two. Irish rugby is in wonderful shape really, just delighted we are really playing rugby. JGP is a joy to watch, and a nightmare to defend I'd imagine.
I wouldn't mind seeing Joey slot in at full back for the last 20 when H.Byrne comes on on Sunday.
Wouldn't be a bad option to have going forward. He could play the Beauden Barrett 2015/current Damian McKenzie role of backup out-half/impact player at 15.
He did it for Munster back in 18/19 away at Connacht. Bleyendaal came on and Joey dropped back to 15 and scored a really nice try.
I feel like Sunday is an absolutely massive game for him. If he performs well he goes a long way to solidifying his position as no.2 and medium term successor to Johnny. If he plays poorly that 22 shirt is still massively up in the air going into the 6N.
I'm really hoping he builds on his solid cameo last week and plays to his potential.
"I never called anyone those names I just said you were acting like one"
I never called you one I just called you one astounding logic.
Appearances at some point from Bobby b, Coombes and one or both of casey and frawley Sunday would be really positive I think
Baloucoune the only non-enforced change per Gerry Thornley
Coombes still injured?
I think he's available now.
Sometime it is better to just put the internet down.
If the only changes to the starting team are the half backs and possibly one wing position, I’d expect the bench to remain unchanged other than the half-back pairing of Casey and Byrne having to be brought onto the bench to fill the empty spaces.
Will be interesting to see how they can replicate the energy of the last two weekends, the extra recovery day might be a big help.
Perhaps the new focus on running at space will mean less injuries and less fatigue.
If this is the team then I think it's clear that we are building for the 6Ns and not the World Cup.
I don't have a problem with that myself, but I'm sure some will. It's a good debate.
id rest Doris for this one, and give POM the start at 6 with coombes or timoney on the bench (assuming both are match ready)
id also rest kelleher and give herring the start with Sheahan to bench.
I wouldn't see the point of either of those changes at all. They've a handful of caps between them, they're both kids, they don't need a rest. We gain nothing starting POM or Herring.
At this stage we know exactly what Herring & POM can add to a game.
Doris has played very little rugby over the last 12 months so it's not like he needs a rest.
Ringrose took a bad knock early in the AB game (was surprised there was no HIA) and he generally was involved in a lot of collisions so he'd be the first person I'd have on the rested list with Henshaw to come in if fit.
Balacoune and Coombes to come in for Conway and Doris and maybe POM for VDF.
Wouldn't have an issue with Zebo getting a run at FB but he's been out of the setup a fair while.
Larmour seems to be a bit out of the frame also of late.
I think there will be more changes than what Thornley has there to be honest.
Quite interested to see the 23, anyone know what time it's being announced?
I’d guess 2:15. The last 2 announcements have been 48hrs before kick off.
It is, if I say you are a twat it means you are a twat. If I say you are acting like a twat it means I don't think anything negative of you but at the present moment you are acting like a twat.
