Carberry has it in spades, will he fully blossom, I hope so. The man is young, supremely talented, smart and a great athlete. I hope he becomes our 10. If not I'll be disappointed for him. Still curious about HB, BH and JC. We also need a fb or two. Irish rugby is in wonderful shape really, just delighted we are really playing rugby. JGP is a joy to watch, and a nightmare to defend I'd imagine.
This ignore is handy. Thanks for the tip.
What did I say that was "condescending" ? That's a pretty subjective term though, what some might consider negative others might consider just being brutally honest or perhaps is offering constructive criticism. I never called anyone those names I just said you were acting like one, completely different circumstance. That's you taking what I said out of context as per usual, try being less analytical would help in these discussions. Cheerio
He know's it too, he's just trying to be clever.
Definitely something I’m gonna start.
The ignore function makes it all so much better. A liberal use even more so!
Perhaps but OldRio asked pretty reasonably for clarification, and instead UAEguy got pretty condescending. His tendency is to, let’s charitably say, be negative.
He’s the only poster I’ve seen on here who’s called people twats, c*nts and told posters to f*ck off within the last few months. That’s before getting to Andy Farrell’s supposed shortage in the bollock region, the gutless coward.
Anyways, I’m taking a break from this place for a few days. It’s just not worth it at the moment.
Carbery may have nailed his kicks with aplomb, but he still has a huge amount to prove in open play, I think. Can he be more robust in defence? And is he even an outhalf in attack? - capable of positioning himself in the right place enough of the time and selecting the right pass with the right timing after the defence has developed in front of him to bring others into space?
The coaches have shown a huge amount of faith in him, and these new attacking systems with less emphasis on the outhalf directing everything give him the best possible opportunity to do well. He can just pop up whenever he wants almost, and leave others to direct things sometimes.
He needs a big game (assuming he starts). This would have been a real opportunity to get Harry Byrne significant minutes at Test level.
Pretty obvious he meant to type 'is' rather than 'isn't' in the first post, no?
You love rugby so much you even call a women's genitalia rugby, or is that another side tracking comment?
I see you’ve moved on to female genitalia. Again, progress of a kind. 😉
Like Balacoune getting a run atleast, Would like to see one of Frawley or Hume get a bench spot.
You are arguing with yourself on this occasion I'm afraid, I dont know how this discussion became about testicals but each to their own I guess.
That was a spelling mistake, my apologies, what that was meant to say is "The opposition he faces in the premiership IS a massive step down from what he will face at test level". Im not quite sure where you are going with this? What's the point you are trying to make? Is it something about rugby or are you just being a twat?
Either way, you just know someone’s scrotal contents are getting a mention one way or another!
id be surprised to see the same pack again. Like the look of the backs though.
No changes to the pack would be a bit of a surprise. Would prefer to see a 2-3 more changes in there, tbh, but looking forward to seeing how Joey goes, and also Baloucoune.
He is probably trying to decide if he has the testicular fortitude to admit he has fucked up or whether he has has the balls to keep digging.
See, if you took a moment to consider the possibility that you might be wrong, you’d see pretty clearly that, yes, you did totally contradict yourself:
Surely even you can understand that?
(So, now, will you hold your hands up and admit your error or double-down?)
Murray Kinsellas possible/probable/purple monkey dishwasher team.
If right I thought there might be more changes. Be great to see Rob B get a start though.
You're arguing with yourself Molloy.
Why are people still engaging?
Personal abuse now.
'Even you'
Obnoxious aren't you.
You've actually reached the point where you're arguing with yourself, having exhausted all other options.
Ummmm...no....no I didnt. Im sure you understand that impressing for England isnt as big as impressing in the CC...surely even you can understand that.
Pretty self explanatory isnt it?
No because what you actually wrote in one post totally contradicted your next post.
Anyway Iifes to short for this crap.
I'm out.
Simmonds based on his CC form was good enough to get selected for England. Being selected for the Lions series is another story completely. Also another factor you missed is the Lions series was the season after he got CC player of the year, and if anything the way he was exposed against Leinster would show why he wasnt getting selected for England in the first place.
Hold on a sec.... The only standard you would consider close to test standard is Champions Cup. Simmonds got European player of the year. Yet you claimed his Lions inclusion was a "mockery".
Logic, UAEguy style.
Its a good standard, just not a good enough standard for test rugby. Pretty self explanatory isnt it? You can be good but just not good enough you know.
