Would not surprise me if the Ghost and Volbeat tour gets a European run
Half capacity 3Arena show perhaps
According to Overdrive Ghost will be announcing tour dates
Of course it's a big risk. There's no guarantee of tickets and it also relies upon checking at the right time as they're rarely publicly advertised.
That number isnt working ?
Not really. Theres always tickets around the week of. Either late releases or on Toutless etc. For big gigs theyre always cheaper on Toutless aswell.
Did it for eddie vedder last time he played here, saw it happen when he played back in 2017 i think and figured that it would happen again and it did, got fourth row down in the flat seats. Did it for ed sheeran as well down in Cork on one of the "sold out" shows, happens more than you think
Same, I caught them at rock im Park in 09 and they were good but always hoped they would do a show here but never (excluding the iron maiden shows). At least when killswitch engage supported maiden in Belfast they did the academy around the same time.
Used to really like Shinedown once upon a time, they've never done stndalone gigs here have they?
Yes, thats an excellent strategy.
I called Ticketmaster (081 890 3001) - totally chanced my arm the first time and went from 3 rows from the back of tiered seating to sitting in front of Glen Hansard's family, couldn't believe my luck.
How did you change the seats?
Or get tickets, keep an eye on production release tickets and change them. I did this for Eddie Vedder tickets a couple of years ago and changed to amazing seats for a tiny fee - well worth it. Have also gotten tickets for gigs that were sold out at the last minute.
Not the worst support bill but Shinedown replacing Alter Bridge is a bit of a bummer. Shinedown aren't too bad live and we're good in Dublin back in 2017 supporting Maiden
Won't be attending this gig myself but hopefully it's a good one for all going
Mick Flannery and Susan O Neil playing Iveagh Gardens on 7th July. They were great at NCH last night. Biggest venue either of them have played here I reckon so interesting to see how well it sells. https://twitter.com/aikenpromotions/status/1461620269496238082?t=I8gOMDP3UPLcHZjpJxl1Lg&s=19
Big risk to take ...
Iron Maiden - Ormeau Park Belfast - Monday 13th June 2022, support are shinedown, airbourne and tempt
Same happens with Eddie Vedder, cant get a seat in the flats at all on release, closer to the date tickets for the best are on sale and available, usually they are for friends and family of the act, hes pretty much sold out both dates, it happens all the time if you wanna go to a gig and its sold out wait till the day of and there are usually tickets for sale
Production holds for a stand up gig, how is that even possible.
More like returns I'd say.
A valid point. that's why I edited my post when I actually went and had a look on Spotify.
You don't count other covering someone's songs as being able to listen to the original
His stuff is on Spotify. Albeit pulled from others albums.
For anyone that likes Ricky Gervais, production hold tickets were released today and still on sale for his shows next week, good seats as well, going myself next week should be good, very affordable as well at €45 a ticket
very cheap, but thats been his pricing strategy for a longtime, looks like identical pricing to 2014, €65 & €80.
tbf, he does exactly what he wants, and he can command it, his stuff isn’t on Spotify, he is quite unusual
On the ticketmaster website.
Very good prices tbh

That'd be cheaper than '14, are you sure?
I think there will be no, problem selling these.
Ed Sheeran sold, what 360,000 ish tickets in 2018 in a flash, and now, 2 months after his 2022 gigs announced, literally, thousands still unsold for 2nd announced gigs in both Dublin & Cork, and this time he is playing less gigs as well. Major miscalculation of the market place. and if you look at the dates, there was room for a 3rd gig in both Cork & Limerick. And this was not pricing, he charged the same as 2018, too many gigs over a short time frame.
Garth is also very well priced, but has 2 massive advantages, in that as he hasn’t played here in more than 2 decades ? (Unsure)huge pent up demand, these will be gone on day of sale, all of them.
and its his only European gigs in 2022, they’l be jetting in here from all over Europe.
Where did you see the prices?
No price on the TM website ?
€65 standing, €80 seats plus fees.
Not bad for a stadium tour these days.
