Apparently yes, through On Demand/Catch Up. It’s not really a separate app like Netflix or Prime (which Sky+HD doesn’t support), it’s part of the normal on-demand stuff. Of course that means Sky’s unique download rather than stream method.
It would seem the reasons for RoI version of Beeb 3 is for Sky viewers. It's something to do with the Ofcom licence no longer being recognised within EU. Sky viewers are paying to watch BBC. Presumably this also applies to Virgin cable too.
They have had an EU licence (I think from Luxembourg) to cover Irish (and Belgian and Dutch cable) broadcasts of the BBC domestic channels since late last year. I don’t think it necessarily requires a separate stream though - the separate streams pre date the Brexit process by a good bit and as I say are mainly to take away access to the Red Button for sports rights reasons.
Madness when the red button channels themselves are FTA.
Hi Ive asked this before I think but what frequencies would I be tuning in on an Ariva box to get the BBC Red Button channel for the snooker please? Getting conflicting results looking at the usual sites.

I read this week that Channel 4 HD officially came back on Freesat. It's LCN is on 126 for now. The Box Music Channels are also on the EPG.
Any news about what is happening with the other Channel 4 HD tests for the other regions via Sky. Are they still going right now?

I always wonder how channels like that even survive when I flick through the higher numbers, their viewership must decrease daily with little to know replacements coming in, same as print newspapers.

I knew something was missing from my favourites list on my vm360 box,.......sky one! When did that go? I was looking for soccer am and realised its gone and its not Saturday either.
Sky One was replaced months ago by Sky Showcase and Sky Max. Soccer AM is on Sky Showcase.
I think it's very sad they just got rid of their oldest station just like that. I know it went down hill similar to mtv but they could of done something for the old lady.
Was never the same once they got rid of DJ Kat.
CBBC has gone back to it's old closing time of 7pm to make way for the linear relaunch of BBC Three in early February.
A new closedown graphic on CBBC has appeared with the new BBC logo on it to make way for the return of BBC Three very soon.

Remember it shares the frequency with Cbeebies so you may not find it before 7PM. Likewise BBC3 is due to return soon and will co-share with CBBC.

I saw something on the EPG today (Michael Palin) that I wanted to watch but it wasn't showing so I did the rescan. Why have they an active listing on the EPG if it can't be watched? Sorry for my ignorance on this!

Make sure to add both Cbeebies and BBC4 to your favourites (if you want them) otherwise you may get an error message if you try the wrong one at the wrong time. This is what happens if you try Cbeebies after 7PM.

The promo videos for BBC Three have begun this evening. BBC Three has a green & blue colour palette for one of it's new idents. The new idents showcases three hands which is very similar what was offered on BBC Choice back in 2003.
For anyone who has not seen the new BBC Three idents. Here's a link before they launch next month.
BBC Three will officially relaunch on the 1st of February at 7pm. It has also been confirmed today that it will show live TV coverage of the Semi Finals & the Final of the Africa Cup of Nations with coverage hosted by Jermaine Jenas.
