My batch number is in the Our Ref line - only noticed it on my third look at the message on
Hi has anyone appealed an interview decision for CO 2020. I got results and I am shocked by them. I thought I did good at interview. I have done 2 tco comptancy based interviews and felt this one was better but scored very badly and I am so upset.
Oh crikey, I’ll have to look again
I’m dreading going for interview (when I’m called) if they’re going to be that harsh 😱😱
I believe you can ask for feedback on your interview. In saying that, I asked for feedback once and got a one liner back. 🙄
I am going to ask for feedback whether that makes any difference. They were tough interviewers but I felt I answered questions clearly as based in on my work in DSP and DPER. I was interrupted a few times and didn't get a chance to finish.
But answered questions as clearly as I could.
Hi, I am so sorry to hear that. You should definitely appeal the decision.
New co campaign launching on Thursday the 18th
Good for you - I hope you get some satisfaction.
I was criticised on this forum in the past after 'moaning' about the fact that my daughter, despite working at the time as a Temporary Clerical Officer in a civil service department that were keen to 'keep her on' if she was successful in the Clerical Officer campaign, failed her CO interview. She'd also worked as a TCO in another tough department a couple of years previously while at college, and was rated as a good employee there (I know because I ended up joining that section myself a while afterwards, and supervisors said they would have been happy to have her on a permanent basis).
Really ?. What does this mean for people waiting to be called on the current campaign.
Thanks for this 👍👍
It will take some time to get the 2022 panel formed and until then people will still be called from the current panel.
Would the return to work from home advice delay recruitment i wonder?
I’d say so Jaffa. I think that’s why the panels are so slow moving too
@Samsgirl @midlands091315 how are yous getting on now you got placed do you like it ?
I’m only starting this Monday it’s a long process from notification of offer to start date. I can update at the end of next week though.
Does anyone know does ‘payment in arrears’ mean you don’t get paid the first week you start - so it would be the second week?
I didn’t get paid the first week but got two weeks the next week this was in 2019 a couple of years ago
Thank you
🙁 Hopefully not, i'm currently undergoing vetting so was hoping for start date in maybe in January.
If you’re undergoing vetting that’s a good sign, it means you’re in the system. I’ve my vetting done for the TCO panel
Ah that be brilliant thanks very much I hope you enjoy it best of luck 😀
Anyone know what OOM & Batch number the Cork panel is on? Thanks
Someone was going for interview 2 weeks ago here and were OOM 277! Seems to be very slow 😔
It’s so slow it’s painful 😣
Hey All,
I opened a new thread/discussion (is that what we are calling it now 🤔) for the new permanent Clerical Officer competition which is due to open tomorrow morning the 18 November 2021.

Thanks a mill
I know someone here mentioned that, if a posting is more than 45km away from home, you can pass on it and still stay on the panel. Is there any written confirmation of this rule anywhere? And if you pass on it, are you immediately offered the next positions that appear or put at the back of a queue again?
