I was really hoping to be called for interview before Christmas so I would know what direction my job search would take in the New Year as I am unhappy in my present job but as they haven't reached 18X yet and my OOM is 24X, I'm thinking that is unlikely. Nearly three weeks since I confirmed my Expression of Interest and the waiting is killing me!
Oh really? I thought your OOM stayed the same. I’ll just be happy if I passed at this stage anyway!
I seen your other post - I’d say you have a good chance at getting called before Christmas. They really seem to be moving through the numbers for interviews pretty quick.
Hope your interview went well. I had interview last week too - panel were lovely but questions were thorough and fast paced. I didn't get a chance to finish one questions because the stopped me and said they had to move on to the next competency. Fingers x'd Said I would hear in 4 weeks.
gosh 4 weeks seems like a lifetime!
Haven't been called for interview yet, but usually around 1 week - 2 max.
Good luck with your results.
Best of luck.
Got my interview results 😀 passed and place high (top 10) on both streams so delighted with myself. Also I figured out I’m batch 3.3 for whoever was asking previously.
Well done! Hopefully you won't be waiting long for placement.
Just got my results this morning and placed in high in top 10!!! Thrilled 😊😊
Congratulations 🎊 the
Well done you! Are you on the Dublin panels too?
I will answer my own question....4 days from interview to result!!very impressed with that turnaround...
Im top 5 OOM in Tipp.....
Any idea what department could pull from this?
would Anyone have an idea whether remote working sue to covid will continue past January? I know blended working policy is due in March-April but would like to know likelihood of remaining remote after Christmas until that’s introduced.
Does anyone know where they're at in Limerick? Batch? Numbers? Anything?
If you are offered a post and turn it down. Does that mean you have first refusal on all future posts until the end of the campaign? (Assuming no one above you declined a post) for example if you were offered revenue could you turn it down in the hopes of getting DSP?
If you decline a post for any reason other than the 45km exception, you will be removed from the panel.
If you turn it down you are out and won’t be considered for any other vacancies.
Unsure about Dublin but for regional panels you may turn down an offer if the job offered is more than a certain distance from your home (think if it is 42 or 45 km).
So I got an email from clearance this evening saying they had reached my number on the interdepartmental panel 😱
PAS have really thrown me with the pace they are progressing at 😂
Has anyone got the email address to contact pas please

This is very interesting....so if i was offered a job in south tipperary and i live in north tipperary, i can refuse a post and remain on the panel?
Did you just get your interview results earlier today? And now clearance? Wow, that's fast - what county is that?
If it's over 45km from your home you can decline, but you're taking a chance on something else coming up that is closer to you.
I emailed them recently and to date have got no reply. This is the first time I've had no reply to an email I've sent them, but I have read on here that others aren't getting replies either.
I emailed on 9/11 and they replied 10/11.
It's very unusual for them not to reply. Maybe I'll resend.
Yes, interviewed last Wednesday morning, results this morning and got email from clearance this afternoon.
My OOM was reached in the interdepartmental stream. This is the Dublin panel
Congrats, that's really fast! I got my results today & really happy :)
