The last thread was alerting me every single time someone posted and I couldn't turn it off. Here's a new thread.
Loadsa €125 single tickets on Ticketmaster now
I believe the rules for soccer are set by UEFA.
And I believe UEFAs rule is that there is no alcohol served at competitive games, well that used to be the rule anyway.
But either way the venue is in a bit of a bind.
For rugby they allow drinks to be taken to seats, for soccer they do not.
But now with COVID they don't want people hanging around the concourse, fine for rugby fans, go back to your seat with the beer, but soccer fans have nowhere to drink (if it was available) as they cannot stay on the concourse.
Probably a discussion for the Soccer board (if anyone uses it anymore post upgrade) rather than the ticket thread here.
Might not be everyone's thing, but I always go straight to the stadium 60-90 minutes before kick off.
No queue for a pint, and I get to sit down with it in peace. Watch the warm ups, read the programme etc. It's a part of the whole day out that I enjoy almost as much as the game itself.
Can't be doing with the nearby pubs being so rammed... And this was my stance before covid!
Beer has been on sale in venue at UEFA games for years(im talking about Aviva dont know or have experience of other venues) and UEFA rules say fans cant drink inside the Bowl so have to drink at concourse. The soccer fans can stay on concourse...
Yes, I stand corrected.
The restriction was removed in 2018
Are the pubs operating more or less as normal before matches these days? As in big crowds inside, jammed in like sardines?
Hi lads,
I was meant to be going to the game on Saturday, but unfortunately my father (who I was attending with) has had his surgery scheduled and now we can't attend. Could somebody let me know the best way to try and sell our two tickets? I'm not looking to profiteer, just let them go for what I paid.
Thanks in advance.
Hopefully someone here will pm you and they'll go to a good home.
You could put them on adverts and you'd likely get a taker there.
Could also try www.toutless.ie
Couple of notices posted there in last few days by people looking for tickets.
I've two tickets in BLK 522 Row U for the NZ game, and want to resell them via my Ticketmaster/IRFU portal. Does anyone know if that's possible, or else I will try and sell them at face value. This is the view.
You can transfer them once you have a seller but there's no resale portal AFAIK. Try www.toutless.com
Toutless is the way to go.
The transfer portal on Ticketmaster is hit and miss. I bought a pair of tickets for each game for a friend in addition to ours and for the Japan and Argentina game they transferred but their was no option to transfer the NZ ones.
A friend transferred a ticket from his IRFU ticketmaster via email to me. I accepted the ticket, but it isn't showing in my account. His account is showing that it is accepted by me, but I can't see it in my account. Does anybody know the number I can ring for help?
If possible your mate could cancel the transfer, and email you the pdf of the ticket, once they are certain it is the correct email address. Hope you get sorted.
Found some details on an old ticket confirmation - hope you get sorted.

You could drink at your seat for the Ireland Portugal game last night.
They closed the bar just after 9pm though.
Got sorted thankfully!
I can't download from TM app to phone android wallet and the app prevents screenshots. I want to have a local of the ticket in case the app doesn't work.
Has anyone else had this problem?
You can log on to your account on the mobile site and download the tickets as pdfs.
It was a bit sluggish this morning but I eventually got them saved to my google pay..
actually as I type that - does Google Pay need internet to show saved tickets?
Nope
That's nope it doesn't and I'm all good or nope it won't work without internet
Save to Google pay not working for me all week. Print not working from app or mobile website. Was able to take screenshots from mobile app though so hopefully all is good.
Nope doesnt need internet.
Well I felt that 240 was steep for two tickets
I didn't feel that at 5pm.
Not one bit.
Same, 220 for the two was a bit hard to justify at the time, but at the final whistle it was well forgotten about!
Will it be Australia, South Africa and 2nd tier nation for Autumn 2022 ?
Just a warning for anyone going in via Sandymount for Argentina and thinking of drinking in the Sandymount Hotel before the game, it was a total mess at the weekend.
Indoor bar is residents only I believe. Outside they literally had 1 bar open with what appeared to be 3 bar staff not experienced with a busy bar. They had only Guinness or Rockshore, and instead of having someone just stand pulling pints constantly and someone else doing money, every single pint was being pulled to order and then the same person taking money etc, it was ridiculous. When you're only offering 2 options (good idea) then you should be flying through the orders.
Queue time for a pint was about 45 minutes. 2 portaloos in total (for men and women), so you were queueing 20 minutes+ for the toilet as well.
€6.50 for a pint too, the robbing bankers. More expensive than the stadium itself (€6.20 in the stadium).
If you're going in via that way I'd go for a pint somewhere else or just go into the stadium early.
What are the chances of getting two tickets for Twickenham in March? Even through the IRFU supporters club.
