Surely you read articles or news online about BTC? Coindesk, cointelegraph?
None of these use Euro btw.
I'm not saying you're wrong btw. My comment was tongue in cheek, each to their own. Just pointing out that all media user dollars
Nope. I don't follow crypto hot air. I'll check the price in € every day if my portfolio app shows much movement, and general financial sites like Bloomberg, cnbc, SMH and AFR, but not for the price, which I get from an always open tab in €.
I like the price in AUD, it's nearly cracked $100,000
One of those articles ya need to read twice and Google after.
Well BTC took a dive. It was so close to €60k but then was a downward spiral.
Downward spiral back to this afternoons price lol.
It's called consolidating
Call it what you want. Price is falling again away from 60k
Back to where it was yesterday and the day before. It's not a bad thing. There's a major resistance it needs to break before it continues in its bull run to the highs lots are predicting. It may take a few goes to break it and there may be major corrections on the way but it is very strong and the market is very bullish.
What goes up and all that. Today's gains wiped out for me, but heading back up now.
Always happens after a few days if gains.
No, no. It MUST go straight up and not have any little dips at all, because that volume is absolutely realistically maintainable for days and weeks on end, anything less is a failure and worth pointing out as if it's a surprise
I still sometimes convince myself that these gains can continue. "It happened yesterday, why shouldn't it happen again!" my brain tells me while I'm buying shitcoins with next months rent 😂
Marshmallow hands.
When a single step back is seen as a death spiral.
The post I made was I was bored and wanted to post something and I seen Bitcoin had a correction so i said I will post a stupid post for the craic about it spiralling downward.
wtf are ye on about?
Bought the dip for ants.
I'm the one up above who posted about the dip that got everyone worked up and posting shít. Get with the program. All you have to do is read the last few posts.
Bad news, Asian markets gonna open in the red. Buy the dip folks!
And there's more of that to come
Hasn't defaulted according to Bloomberg. Definitely seems to have impacted the markets though. Wonder will they stay low for a few days, or pick back up tomorrow.
Hate watching things go red 🤣
Will happen - they have taken so much money for apartments etc that haven't even been built, lot of their assets were vanity projects and add on all the other property developers that are also defaulting
Maybe the CCP will step in and take over but gonna take a lot of money to cover it and foreign investors will be last in line
Lot of Western funds are invested in the Chinese property market
May end up being a good thing for crypto with all the ETF's in the pipeline
The competition looks like it’s keeping Uni’s price down. Next there is avalanche’s, fantom’s, Cardanos (sundaeswap) and Sols. All with lower fees.
The CCP are unlikely to step in.
"But the troubled Chinese conglomerate is starting to get its priorities in order — and foreign investors look to be bottom of the list."
$8 B is owed to foreign investors. By letting it default and go bankrupt, China inc has just made $8 B in hard foreign currency.
The US pulls off this scam at regular intervals and is the really big player. They invented Junk bonds, a lot of European and foreign banks piled in for the silly yield and then poof - the US gets to keep all that foreign money. Same thing happened with sub prime mortgages - another US invention - foreign banks and investors piled in and poof - money gone and the US gets to keep it all. That one sparked the GFC we in Ireland have beeen paying through the nose for since 2008.
The other scam they run is regularly fining foreign banks and investment companies. That also brings in billions. It brought in $128 B between 2009 and 2014. $14 B in 2020. A lot of it was of domestic US banks, but it really is a mostly rip off the foreigners racket:
"Europe’s banks have paid a disproportionate share of the fines levied by the United States’ regulators, “with the average fine for European banks being ten times the amount US banks have been served”, data contained in a new report shows."
It also extends to other companies sometimes. BP was fined something like $21 B for the deppwater horizon incident, for a 200 million barrel leak. Contrast that with Taylor energy and a their 14 year long 150 million barrel leak - a $666 m trust for cleanup and they were suing to get $432 m of that back.
When Europe looks to stop US company tax avoidance in the EU - a huge transfer of wealth from EU citizens to US investors, they pull out the big guns and get the Secretary of state to issue threats - something they also did with proposed EU carbon taxes because it would have reduced the flow of EU wealth to the US.
There's a lot of rumours on Twitter about Metamask about to do an airdrop. It will probably be based on anyone who has used the swap feature of the Metamask wallet, but if it is about to happen soon, they have probably already taken their snapshot of wallets who will benefit, so might be too late to qualify.

Done an airdrop for fox tokens a few months back, what’s the drop for?
It's all in that tweet thread. Basically, there is a strong likelihood that Metamask will deploy a native token and reward users of the swap feature of their wallet with an airdrop of the new native token.
Fox is the metamask token. The thread just has people asking questions and no token name. It might be a troll as the fox token exists and doesn’t have much price action. The gas fees are ridiculous too.
edit: it’s the shapeshift token integrated into metamask. Not sure if one bought out the other.
Is there anybody here buying BTC at the moment? Is there strong belief it will break $100k eventually? Wondering if it's still worth the investment. Have some ETH but no BTC.
BCH and ETH. I remember when BCH was the second most expensive coin how times have changed ETH is now second and has being for a very long time. I remember ETH when it was worth nothing. I really should have bought some.
It very well could but it is crypto after all and could go the other way who knows what will happen.
I plan to buy more.
I haven't read any serious crypto/BTC forum that doubts it.
