Yeah, everyone I know (myself included) have not received any result letters. I've passed exams in the last 3 sittings and received nothing
Hi all,
Hope everyone's nice and relaxed after the exams. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about those waiting for the Hybrid being prioritised for results? I've sent an email but have heard nothing back.
Has anyone applied yet for refunds? Just wondering what the expected waiting time is?
Have also emailed but no response
hi, there may be no good answer to this but I want to choose my subjects for March and while I’m definite that I want to do Constitutional, Equity and Property - I don’t know if I would be better off adding Contract or Criminal to the mix ????
any thoughts from experience would be really appreciated.
I think contract would fit best with equity and property.
Yes I would agree with Contract. There is some overlap and are were also recommended to me to do together 😊
Hiya! I emailed them this morning and this is the response.
"Hi,
As of right now that is something that needs to be discussed internally but as it stands right now the FE-1 results will be available Dec 13th but feel free to check back in with me at the end of this week or early next.
Best,
Sinead"
'as it stands' watch it be December 22nd or something and me fail some exams I'll have to repeat in March 😂😂 are they normally fairly reliable? Its my first sitting so don't know the process all that well yet
I hate to be the one to break it to you but the Law Society are the worst 😂
"Fairly reliable" is the exact opposite to what they are, unfortunately.
being hopelessly optimistic has always been my fatal flaw 😂😂
Hi all, just wondering what do people see for results when they click onto the the law soc website? I have passed all 8 exams but when I click into FE1 results and status, I just see 'pending'. I find this odd since I have passed all 8. Is this the same for everybody else? I can't even remember my results in the various exams at this point. I wish I had kept a note myself of my results.
I actually got a response back from Sinead eventually and it was basically sending me to a different person without the law soc- nothing about it being discussed internally and to get back to them next week...
Hi, I am looking for the most recent exam papers and exam grids from anyone who has them for contract, equity and tort. In exchange I can give scripts for Property, Criminal and EU from March 2020 and materials for constitutional and company up to date for Oct 2021.
Not sure if this is the best thread to ask on, but does anyone know of Cork firms that pay your blackhall fees?
Hey, anyone have notes on Dpp v Davis that they could send me
The only one that I know of is RDJ. That's not to say that other firms don't do it but they certainly don't advertise it if they do. You'd have to ask them.
Hi,
I have EU, Company, Tort and Equity materials to give (2020) and would appreciate Property and Constitutional materials in return , if you could PM me please
is it essential to do an equity prep course? Does it update often etc?
No I wouldn’t think so! I used a manual from 2017 for last November’s sitting and I passed.
Anyone have a criminal grid including 2021
if anyone needs the permitted legislative sources for EU and Company law, DM me :)
Hey folks,
Does anyone have a relatively recent constitutional exam grid? The one I have is from 2016.
I have 2020 contract, criminal and EU grids and a 2021 equity grid I can exchange if anyone needs them.
Thanks.
Looking for an updated Criminal, EU, Contract and Tort grid please.
Have resources to swap!
Looking for a copy of the Lawschool revision guide for Company if anyone wouldnt mind giving me it please.
Can swap for Contract, Tort, Property, criminal or equity notes etc.
TIA
Looking for criminal tort and equity up to date guides please have loads of notes in exchange
Yes! If you DM your email I can send. Would love the equity + criminal grids - thanks!
Apparently you can download your Oct 2021 exam script. Just found this while poking around: https://www.lawsociety.ie/Public/Become-a-Solicitor/FE-1-Exam/download-exam-script
