No way they will let the same thing happen again, there was clearly a conversation with DCC when the licence applications were sent it. Another thing to note, the planning year runs from May 1st so the Ed Sheeran gigs fall into the previous year meaning there are actually only 5 concerts happening in that year which is an increase of 2 from what's agreed. These will absolutely go ahead, as they should.
I asked you a question , why do you support overpriced tickets? You realize most of the audience for Westlife will be kids? Why do you think its fair to charge 160-190 for a ticket? Waiting an answer.
If you can find where I said I support it, I'll buy you one of these 160-190 tickets......
This is lose-lose.
Either they're proved wrong or they win a Westlife ticket
😂
Think the 2014 prices are all the same €80-€85 a pop. Garth doesn't do any of that gold circle stuff
Heres hoping everyone who wants a ticket will get one esp with the 5 dates. Will we see a return of the big ques outside the TM places but they must be very few physical TM places left at this stage
As an urban planner myself I can tell you that there is no such thing as a "planning year". Croke Park might consider such things in the way they work but its no more significant than that.
The consideration is based on the content of the application, submissions made and the law.
Having 2nd thoughts on the Bad Wolves/Tremonti gig. Quite enjoying Bad Wolves new album and the nee lead singer sounds great
Im going to that myself, splashed out on the VIP experience and all for myself haha, listen to Tremonti's new album some good tracks on it, been locked up long enough as well so trying to go to as much as im able to
I'd say more of the ausience for Westlife will have kids than are kids. Middle aged women who remember Flying without wings from their school days.
Can't find it, can you post a link please?. Would east or west lower be good seats for this concert? never been to aviva for anything non sporting related.
TV ads are saying from €59.50
Going from the Scotland date that price is be back end of the stadium
Rod Stewart
3Arena Dublin 18th Nov
SSE Arena Belfast- 20th Dec
An hour out and we still don't know what price eagles tickets are, that's fairly shady.
Is it all seating do you know?
No, its standing also
The original plan they had on Ticketmaster had pitch as standing but that has since been removed. I would have thought they would have went for seating on the pitch
They have not updated the “info” if thats the case:
Pitch standing €79.50, thats quite good tbf, thought twud be 100 ish
However pitch standing its at the back, €206 for pitch seating, so standing must be half way line and back, no map which is a bit of a shitshow
Yea, if I do go I'd be getting tickets to the side in the stands unless it's too expensive
Just noticed, They have some pitch seating for €136 as well- further back of course.
Placebo playing the 3Arena on Monday December 5th 2022.

Noel Gallagher has said he will be playing a few outdoors shows next year, hopefully an irish show is included
Any gigs on weekends any more - James & Happy Mondays on a Wednesday night. Placebo on Monday night. Really takes away from the enjoyment if working the next day
Theres not really that many slots left for outdoor gigs in ‘22. Many were already filled, by postponed gigs from 2020/2021.
Trinity series (6 gigs)
Malahide castle (7 gigs)
Croke Park (7 gigs if Garth is a go)
Aviva (3 gigs)
Marlay Park (2 gigs + Longtitide)
Fairview Park (2 gigs)
RDS (1 gig)
Pairc Ui Chaoimh (4 gigs)
Musgrave Park (7 gigs)
Docklands Limerick (2 gigs)
these venues are all either full, or almost at gig capacity.
Just 2 in Marlay Park so far,(+Longtitude) so could be more announced there, maybe Fairview Park & RDS also, hardly any room if any, for the other outdoor venues.
Phoenix Park is a maybe & Slane is about the biggest one yet to be announced.
Even the Marquee Cork & the Big Top Galway are almost at gig capacity.
I was thinking noel g could be a headliner for Indie? They said names were due soon or could be this week when they drop the first batch
Yes, he could be in there alright, they said on twitter, 1st batch announced this week.
Greta van Fleet June 23rd Fairview Park, saw them when they played the Olympia pre covid, class act live dont know how well they would sell fairview park though
Spent most of that Olympia gig laughing at the shameless Zeppelin vibes. Great band though.
