Was watching a 2013 season review and was surprised to see the likes of Renault supplying PU's to 4 different teams, just alpine these days.
Lost it after Redbull.....

New corners at Abu Dhabi.
I wasn't so sure about the corner at the end of the second long straight but it looks like they've made the same mistake at both new corners, nowhere near hard enough braking zones. That was the issue at the first sport before, they were turning into the chicane with not that much braking beforehand, will likely be similar with the new configuration. Double DRS will be the key.
Renault have a seriously impressive history in F1. I wouldn't be too fast to rubbish them.
They were at the cutting edge long before red bull and likely will be after red bull as well.
They didn't bring in their sport brand to F1 to fail. They have chassis and Engine in house which can only be good. They could do with a B team or customer to get some more engine mileage in testing but I think they are here to win in the long term.
The wet races at Interlagos are the best ones. Must try to watch the epic 2003 race sometime this week.

Alonso had the big accident on race day.
As did Mark Webber. I don't know if it's still there but someone put the full race up on YouTube with RTÉ commentary if you can track it down. Real nostalgia fest there.

Webber had the accident and Alonso hit some debris from the crash, I think it might even have been a wheel. Fisi had got a jump on Kimi, I think because Jordan had fueled early to go the full distance and when the others started to pit, Fisi ended up temporarily in the lead in probably one of the worst Jordans ever, and then they called the race. Pretty sure it was covered in an episode of the excellent Bring Back V10s podcast recently enough.

I think I recall seeing on a video that teams can't begin setup of the cars until the cargo that F1 deals with is dealt with for all teams, so at least there will be no team unfairly punished, they'll all be affected
That’s correct, and I believe it’s DHL who exclusively handle air freight for races (only a small portion of race day gear actually travels buy air… but it’s the important portion!!)

Them to be blanking Brundle is a serious slap to everything F1.
In fairness to this rapper woman, she seemed relatively normal and happy to talk, it was her bodyguard that pushed Brundle away.... And who was the other gimp saying you can't do that.
These people probably don't even know about f1 and are selling their association to f1 in exchange for their fans seeing f1, maybe for the first time. Why do F1 fans want an interview with someone like that? It's not for the f1 fan's sake, it's for f1's sake to get new fans through new avenues.
Why do f1 fans even want to watch an I terrier with a rapper who they don't know and who knows nothing about f1? Are all these people want more Meghan Thee Stallion interviews big Kardashian and Hello magazine fans?

I think Bottas is doing a very professional job of supporting Lewis and the team wherever he can. Has he suggested things are getting messy?
Could that highest bidder still be Ferrari? They could be squeezing Ferrari for a few extra bob in exchange for keeping Gio. Depends if Ferrari is still committed to keeping Gio or not.
Looks like Otmar Szafnaur will be leaving Aston and joining Alpine.

Otmar has released a statement denying those rumours, he of course denied Vettel would be joining them for this season last year also so take that with whatever measure of salt you like.

The weekend warmup video from F1 is up and their tech guy, Sam Collins reckons the work around the back of Hamiltons car is looking like an installation of a new PU, which is a 5 place drop for the race but not for the sprint. Worked well for Bottas in Monza.
