Continued from https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2057678685/ireland-ticket-information-thread
The last thread was alerting me every single time someone posted and I couldn't turn it off. Here's a new thread.
Thanks
Can't believe how many tickets are still available for today. IRFU definitely got their pricing wrong for this one it seems.
Is Carlsberg still the beer on sale ?
Won't make any of the rugby but going to the soccer next Thursday
For the Connacht Ulster rugby match, it was Heineken and Islands Edge Stout.
Stupid kick off time too, 1pm .
Carlsberg and Guiness today I think. Expected Heineken
Just noticed the Argentina game is on the same Sunday as The Offspring are playing 3Arena. Maybe a trip to the Aviva is on the cards but ticket prices are putting me off
Glad they have Carlsberg in the stadium even though for the soccer you're stuck in the concourse if you want a pint
Stuck in the concourse and rightly so.
I had the misfortune of being in an aisle seat for a game a few years back and had the game ruined by cretins going up and down to get drinks.
Some of them spilled about half the pints coming up the steps.
The bar should be closed during the game.
Diageo have pouring rights outside of European Cup games (for rugby) so you'll only see their brands.
I assume anyone who say bought a restricted view ticket today could have moved around freely given the number of emty seats.
It was fairly packed in the lower and premium levels outside of behind the posts in the South stand. Just there and level 5 looked a bit depleted.
Carlsberg and Rockshore. Guinness event. Soccer will be same
Was this enforced yesterday?
My cert wasn’t checked at any stage! It’s an outdoor event so no pass needed?
Think the bars will be closed for the soccer
They wont. You just cant drink at your seat. They most certainly are going to be open.
From Aviva website for Ireland vs Portugal
'There will be food outlets on levels where parons are located.
Please note, that Aviva Stadium is now cashless across all bars and food outlets for this and all future matches. This means there will be no cash accepted but all bank cards, Apple, Android and Google Pay are. This change will mean faster service, shorter queue times, faster transaction time and means the staff won’t be handling cash.
We would also ask that whilst queuing you adhere to social distancing guidelines for your safety and the safety of our staff.'
Bit of a balls really but sure look extra time in the pub.
The bars are going to be open as well. The websites wrong. Bars are most certainly open.
The rule in the Aviva for the Japan game was that you couldn't drink or eat in the food/bar areas. People were being moved along and told to go back to their seats to eat and drink although this was being ignored in some cases. There was a lot of people not even wearing masks in the bar queues nevermind any social distancing.
Any idea in when 6 nations tickets might go on sale?
Saturday was the first time I've heard them advertising ticket sales for matches during the game. Obviously the Argentina game struggling for numbers too. IRFU messed up the pricing on this.
No burgers available at the match on Saturday, just the hotdogs and the pies. Had one of the curry pies, good fare, but a bit awkward to eat! Also for any drivers there was surprisingly no non-alcoholic beer.
For anything over 75% attendance, COVID cert is required.
Wasn’t checked anyway….
Definitely zero cert checking, not even spot or random checks.
A few tickets up now on Ticketmaster for NZ! Just got 2 myself.
Wouldn't mind going but don't think I could justify the 132 a ticket. Nearly 2e for every minute of the game.
Few more New Zealand tickets now on Ticketmaster - mostly Premium Level by the looks of things.
€165 Premium tickets there now...
Tickets on ticketmaster right now.
Which is a good pub for a few before and after the game ? I will be making my way down from the city centre
Anywhere around the ground, they'll all be fairly busy.
The Bridge, Beggars Bush or Sanydymount Hotel depending on where your seat is for so you are close....
