Cheers, never thought of that, like... Would you get it in mint condition?
If person says selling it brand new yeah all good there, otherwise they might say opened etc.
Also may be worth looking on hagglezon.com (amazon comparison) and geizhals.eu (price checker) and if needed use mailboxde.com (add roughly €15 to the price).
Might also be worth holding off until black Friday for sets might be some good deals then.
Just spotted Technic Catamaran 43105 for €18.76 reduced in Tesco Bray. 4 on shelf. Dunno if unique to this store or available elsewhere
Never thought of buying on black friday here before - saw a vid from the US that shows Lego stores there offered double points - does that happen on the Irish Lego store? Where are the best lego deals on black Friday? Thanks for the tip.
I believe they will have double points around black Friday. Not 100% on offers those few days until cyber Monday. Amazon and argos would have offers.
Ya was thinking about holding off but if they are sold out everywhere (except the odd few regional Argos stores) then might be a risk to expect a price drop for a high demand product.
LEGO 42125 Technic Ferrari 488 GTE AF Corse 51 Car Set reduced to 142.99 in Smyths - enjoy!
Not a bargain as such but the Home Alone house seems amazing value at 250 on the Lego site - released today - going to be a nice Christmas build with the kids.
Considering it's a licensed product and almost 4,000 pieces I think it's great value, you'd expect it to be €300 at least.
LEGO 41393 Friends Baking Competition Set with Toy Cakes
on sale in Tesco for €15.31. It's €36 in Smyths. 361 pieces, so 4c a piece.
spot a couple of deals today (prob price matching from amazon) that i have been waiting for awhile:
76386 HP Polyjuice Potion set £12 (33% off): https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08W8BGKH5
76895 Speed Champions Ferrari F8 £12 (33% off): https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07W5PWLN3
Your alternate winter village ha 76388 HP Hogsmeade Village £54 (23% off): https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09842W8JG
Lego Ecto 1 Ghostbusters on Amazon.de - went to checkout and it showed up as 142.99 - bought it straight away - bargain in my book
Snapped that up, another thing on my christmas list - 40euro cheaper than Smyths
Lego City advent calendar is down to 17 in smyths. I picked it up on Friday in smyths swords and there was 11 in stock, all sold out there now since Friday. Cheap 1 to get for next mth if in your local smyths, seems sold out in a lot now.
Damn I missed this. I had it in my basket yesterday around that price but was out at the match. Today its €164 delivered, thats a shame.
Anyone else get this? Still have not got shipping confirmation even though it says its in stock.
I haven't gone through them yet, but CDiscount is having it's black week sale.
I think shipping is initially €5.99 - €7.99 and I know shipping doesn't go up much when you add more items.
Lego sale is here -https://www.cdiscount.com/juniors/lego/v-12028-12028.html
For example, Harry Potter Great Hall (marked with OFFRE BLACK WEEK) is €79.99 + €7.99 shipping - https://www.cdiscount.com/juniors/lego/lego-harry-potter/l-1202805.html#_his_
For those new to the site, the left hand side menu is very helpful for filtering, including products in the category that will ship to Ireland - Go to Pays de Livraison and then expand the list (+ de choix) to include Ireland and tick it.
the Land Rover is down to 85gbp on Amazon at the moment, works out as 87 at checkout.. roughly 103 euro
Is there any duty or extra charged to pay when it arrives in The post? Thanks
sane boat as you - contacted Amazon they said it will be released soon and they said they would refund cost of postage when it arrives - dec worth dropping them an e-mail
Nope, Amazon covered Irish vat
So everything is covered at checkout? Thanjs
Go onto argos great savings on lego now today. Ghost busters ecto 1 is down to 140 and winnie the poo tree house is 70 now. Loads more offers. There also giving a voucher of 10 euro if you spend 100 or more orr 5er if you spend 50 or more. Be smart if buying stuff as it's a 10er voucher 100 or more so if buying a few sets do multiple purchases and not just 1 big one as they only give you one 10er over 100 and say like I done just now I reserved ecto 1 for 140 and winnie th poo house for 70 I will do 2 purchases to get 2 different vouchers.
Thanks for this! Have been desperate for the Ecto1 and best I had was 160 delivered from Amazon.de but was able to cancel that for this. You're a star!
My Ecto 1 turned up this morning from Amazon.de, unfortunaly the actual box its in is not in good condition. Taped shut down ends and battered and bruised. Its a present so dont think id be happy to give it, going to cost me 30euro to send it back to Amazon with them refunding 11euro.
That's pure crap. Like they should be offering free returns even on it.
Don't forget to also chance your arm with the "TOYS20" code as part of the Black Friday toy offer on their homepage. Brickset is saying the current discounts and additional 20% discount are stacking - but that might only be for the UK, but no harm in asking (the Irish argos is saying prices online include discount, but quite often that's wrong)
Your right I tried it there in omni it works perfectly. So Ecto 1 down to 140 I said at the till toys20 so I got Ecto 1 for 112 and 10 euro voucher. Then the winnie the poo tree house 70 I said toys 20 and got it for 56 plus 5er voucher
