You come across on the same pay but it might take time as your previous dept gives you all the required docs etc to show previous service. Almost certain you would still need to do a 1 year probationary period again.

Answered my own question.
Replied to expression of interest yesterday and received date for interview this evening. Quite a quick turnaround. I wonder if placements for those who have already interviewed in Batch 3 began?
I did my interview and had results within 4 days too then

Can I ask what your original OOM was after the first round of assesment? I was mid 40's but my second choice of Dublin came around first so I went with that. I wasn't sure they would reach my OOM in Westmeath. So just wondering where they have got to!

Haven't heard of people getting an allowance but your department might allow you to borrow a few items from the office for home based work.

I received a message today on my Public Jobs message board to advise I have been appointed to the DSP in Longford (not surprised, in that there is little other Dept’s in this region)
I was OOM 3, Batch 2.1.
It advised someone from that department will be in contact soon with the particulars.

When you get interview after e tray are you put on a new OOM panel or is it just pass/fail interview?
If you are successful at interview you are ranked and offered, subject to references, clearance etc
When you say ranked do you mean given a number placing? And the offers have to reach your number before the panel expires?

I got an email saying I had a message in Public Jobs. It was sent there like any other correspondence from them. I replied with my expression of interest Wednesday morning. Maybe they are scheduling people based on their OOM.
Hi all; as I see other people are starting to get called for interviews etc, I wanted to remind people that when they do get the message about their interview, it is important you respond and include your ID.
I neglected to do this (didn’t read the message correctly) and received a message to say that because I had not replied I was no longer in the running.
Thankfully once I explained the situation I was allowed to hold my place, but not without its stress.
Therefore if I can help others avoid such a situation, it would be great.

Hi, I confirmed my EOI last Tuesday too and haven't received an interview date yet either. My OOM is over 200 so I'm sure the dates are being confirmed as per your OOM. Good luck.
