Surprised there's no thread for these. Looking very tempting. 5 years of support which is great for those who keep our phones long-term. Do like my Pixel 4a but do find it a little underpowered and battery life isn't brilliant. Probably will be the regular 6 its bit more affordable. Estimated pricing is €649 the Pro is a little pricey for me at €899. Hopefully they do a good launch offer like the Pixel 5. Possibility it won't be on the Irish Google store for launch though, only the UK site has info up. Should be able to get it up north I guess or Argos may have it.

6 Sorta Seafoam shipped in the last hour. Ordered about 9pm on the 19th.
Yes
Mine was the 28th too but I believe they deliver the next day so as long as you hear it ships some time today, you might be ok. Fingers crossed anyway.
Can anyone confirm if ordering from Vodafone will it be locked to Vodafone network or will be Sim free?
Has anyone put in a claim for their headphones yet? I know last year people were putting in claims as soon as it would ship, as you'd get the IMEI in the order confirmation.
Edit: actually, last year there was a bigger delay from the announcement to shipping, so the 14 days had already passed. I guess we have to wait until next Tuesday at the earliest.
Slip in the box said you've to wait 14 days to make the claim.
I assume it's to stop people claiming the headphones and then returning the phone.
It will be SIM free. I've bought multiple Pixels from Vodafone, always unlocked.
Yeah, on the website it says 14 days from ordering, but I think when you go through the process it asks if you have had the phone for more than 14 days. I think we'd be good from next Tuesday.
Just a heads-up for anyone on the fence about ordering - today is the last day you can order for the Bose offer.
Someone on the bargain alerts thread said Ireland was excluded from offer but I doubt that?
No, you can click on Ireland when you follow the link from the Google store.
I'm giving this fast charger a go.
It says it supports PPS, and I've bought some UGREEN cables over the last year and found them to be really good quality. What's the worst that can happen? Make my P6 explode? 😂
Somehow....just managed to snag a 6 Pro 128GB Stormy Black! Was refreshing the page a lot and then it just popped up and managed to get it into my basket and pay !! Happy days 🎉🎉🎉
Delivery is way out but sure my Poco F3 5G will be grand until it arrives! ;-)
Should be fine but may not be optimal for charging the battery. Doubt it make much difference to be honest. Worst case you get normal charge speeds
Cheers. Vodafone have the seafoam in stock.
Now to weigh up if it's worth upgrading over the pixel 5!
If you buy off Vodafone don't you have to sign up to one of their plans? Unless of course you are a Vodafone customer already, right!?
You select one of their PAYG plans, such as Vodafone X, but you never actually have to top up or use it. They may possibly make you pay €20 for one month, but I never had to in the past.
Yes, mine is the pro - I see you mentioned that yours has shipped as well.
My case is saying 4th - 5th November. The tracking just shows "Shipment information received" which I guess is normal.
According to Gls tracking my belroy case should turn up today. I probably will end up not using my Google sorta stormy pro case so if anyone wants to buy let me know
Anyone notice their Developer Options is turned on and the build number of android is in there dropdown bar? It's like this on my Sort Sunny Pro that arrived yesterday. Not sure if it copied it over from Galaxy S20 Plus or if it was like this out of the box.
Why not get the Google one instead? It only cost a few quid extra, charged up the phone rapidly earlier, much quicker than My 10e
You can set up a gesture to double tap the back glass to open an app. I have it set up for YR and it works very well.
How is the fingerprint sensor?
Curious as to what people think given a lot of reviews said it wasn't very good.
Got my Pixel 6 earlier today, absolutely loving it. A sizeable upgrade to the P5 and delighted to be back off my interim samsung!. I'm glad I went for the standard P6 and not the Pro, the phone is absolutely huge though but luckily I should be able to cancel the gym membership carrying this weight around with me. Lovely screen (Long live the flat screen), great speakers & very snappy performance!
Honestly, It's adequate and nothing to write home about. The last week I've been using an S10 as I had sold my Pixel 5 and it's very much of the S10 quality in terms of speed but its better in terms of accuracy. It's not rejected a print on me yet, just takes that extra split second to log you in verses the old rear pixel print.
See I have an S10+ and was hoping it would at least be an upgrade on that because it's always been one of my least favourite things about the phone.
Still, mine isn't due to be delivered til Nov 23rd so plenty of time to see if it is worth the upgrade. Does seem very positive so far.
The boom is back baby. 900 quid for a phone FFS.
Belroy case looks good!
Nice mate! How much was it?
The Poco will be getting the boot when the Pixel 6 Pro arrives so whatever I get for it will go against that €899 and the headphones will be fobbed as well.....I already have a pair of them and love them. No need for two pairs though.....
Cheers,
M ;-)
